Dr. Lawrence Perera, an automobile engineer is the founder Chairman of Euro Sports Auto (Pte) Ltd and its group of companies, is a veteran in the car industry and currently serves as Chairman / CEO on many of its subsidiary companies. He counts over 40 years’ of managerial experience, locally and overseas working with premier automobile brands such as BMW, ALFA ROMEO, ASTON MARTIN, AUDI, PEUGEOT, CHRYSLER AND MITSUBISHI. He is also member of motor industry in UK, CAE FIMI.

Mr. SABRI WAHID Deputy ChairmanMr. Wahid is a founder member of the Micro group and has immensely contributed to integrate sustainability as a core value within our business operations. He counts over 35 years of industry experience in Administration and Finance expertise. He is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians in Sri Lanka and also qualified in CIMA.

In 1992, he took the initiative in setting up the ALFA ROMEO franchise in Colombo followed by the RENAULT heavy truck franchise in 1995 under Transmec Engineering (Pte) Ltd.

From 2013, under Euro Sports Auto (Pte) Ltd, we have imported Alfa Romeo Giulietta, Mito and even currently

Giulia to Sri Lanka via Euro Sports Auto Singapore as a grey importer. Further we offer warranty / after sales services for

the Alfa Romeo island-wide.


EuroSports Auto Lanka (Pvt) Ltd recently obtained the franchise MG, British sports car brand which is

under the ownership of SAIC Motors, the largest automobile company in China.

EuroSports Auto Lanka (Pvt) Ltd is a newly formed luxury automotive company and the first in the country to import Lamborghini from Singapore as a Grey importer assuring after sales services.


Transmec International also provides transportation solutions for general public via its private / public rental operation of commercial vehicles.

Transmec International became the franchise owner for Renault Trucks in Sri Lanka, which is a

French automobile global giant in commercial truck manufacturing.
