Swimming Lessons

Our swimming lessons help to build confidence in the water. We offer progressive levels of achievement, where skills and abilities are developed through achieving given standards to a nationally recognised assessment. We work closely with ASA (Amateur Swimming Association) and Southern Water to provide the best swimming scheme around

Adult Lessons Different ability classes starting from non-swimmers to improvers. This is a 10 week course which must be booked in advance at Reception

Inflatable SessionThese sessions include the use of the inflatable and big raft style floats. Non-swimmers or those using buoyancy aids will only be able to use the big floats at the shallow end. The inflatable is for competent swimmers only. Unaccompanied children must be over 8 years old to attend this session

Family Fun Session Enjoy our fun session with floats of all shapes and sizes down the shallow end of the pool. A perfect opportunity to play/swim with family and friends

Parent & Baby Informal lessons to introduce children to the pool environment, helping to build water confidence through songs and games. For babies and children ages 3 months - 2 1/2 years

DucklingsAimed at 2-4 year olds, participants are encouraged to work towards gaining the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) Duckling Awards through a series of informal but structured lessons, including plenty of fun, songs and games

Private Hire & Schools

Local schools and clubs; such as canoe clubs, scuba clubs, competitive clubs and lifesaving clubs, that hire out our facilities

Swimming Club Hire

Private pool hire by local swimming clubs including Wadurs Swim Club for children under 16 years old who are able to swim at least 1,000 metres in a one hour session

Staff Training Time put a side for Wadurs staff training

Celebrate your birthday at Wadurs Pool with exclusive use of the swimming pool! The swimming pool is available to hire between 5.00pm and 7.00pm every Saturday with one hour exclusive pool hire!

The following party options are available:• Whole pool only - £100• Whole pool with floats - £120• Whole pool with large inflatable - £140

All parties are supervised by our fully qualified Lifeguards.

We also have a party room available to hire, which can host up to 25 people. Hirers must provide their own food and drinks as there are no catering facilities on-site.• Party room hire - £20

Platinum members save £10 on all party bookings!

A maximum of 40 children are allowed per party (25 if staying for food). Parental supervision is required.

IMPORTANT SWIMMING NOTES

Enjoy unlimited swimming for a fixed monthly fee (membership dependent). You could save yourself £££s by taking out a Platinum membership – ask to speak to a Membership Advisor today!

• Under 8s must be accompanied in the swimming pool by an adult (16+ years) at all times

• Under 4s must have adult 1-2-1 supervision at all times

• Only 2 children under the age of 8 years are permitted per adult. A child aged between 5-8 years must be a competent swimmer or be wearing a buoyancy aid

• Last admittance to the pool is 30 minutes before the pool closes

• Changing cubicles, lockers and hair dryers are available in our changing areas. Locker fee is refundable

• Floats, goggles, hats, armbands and swimming nappies are available to purchase from Reception

• If showering in a public swimming area swimming costumes/trunks must be worn

• Swimming nappies must be worn by babies at all time.
