The Penang Ferry Service is the oldest ferry service in Malaysia, connectingpassengers from George Town and Butterworth since 1920. The servicecaters to everyone – daily pedestrian commuters, tourists as well as vehicles– and takes less than 10 minutes to get to the other side. NIKI CHEONG anda few young reporters from The Star’s BRATs (Bright, Roving, AnnoyingTeens) were given the opportunity to view the ferry in ways an ordinarypassenger would never get to.
