Act 1-Scene 6 SummaryDuncan, Banquo, Malcolm,

Donalbain, Lennox, Macduff, Ross, Angus and their assistants enter Macbeth’s castle where they are greeted by Lady Macbeth. Duncan and Banquo compliment the Macbeth’s on their castle, and thank them for their hospitality. Lady Macbeth, kindly welcomes the King and his nobleman into her castle, and shows dramatic irony by acting innocent, when in reality she is planning to kill Macbeth.
