Hopefully ,all the programmes will be running as planned. For activity 1, it is expected that this program will help to improve students'

personal development especially in terms of target groups truancy prevention and avoidance of problems of other disciplines. Indirectly, the

students will become more disciplined and nurturing a culture of “Days Coming” to school, means that, they come to school every day. Truancy

is not a small problem, if we do not take the action, it will protract. Vice-Chairman of the Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF), Tan

Sri Lee Lam Thye said the disciplinary case definition by the Ministry of Education is the criminal, obscenity, irreverent, self neatness, truancy,

delinquency and not concerned with time. Lee said that among the categories of disciplinary cases which recorded the highest percentages

are, crime (0.22 per cent) and truancy (0.22 per cent). Hopefully, with this well-organized program, the school able to reduce discipline

problems especially the truancy among the pupils. Preventive approach is calculated as 'intervention' and it may help to reduce the problems.

That is, we will be able to sniff and saved many students from disciplinary. According to Dawe, T. (2011, February 22), when students lose their

self-control, instruct them to stop what they are doing and walk away from the situation to reflect.

"Curteous Pupil" programme is an excellent program for capacity building among students in the school. The program is designed in

line with the program of excellence personality Excellent Students (WELL) under the auspices of the Guidance and Counselling Unit in

collaboration with the Committee for Islamic Education and Moral Education. This program will be implemented on a continuous basis involving

all the teachers as mentors. This programme is actually based on SUMUR program that is created by our former Minister of Education, YB Dato

Seri Hishamuddin bin Tun Hussein in 2007 . Then we come out with a new programme that is focusing on the 5 ‘C’ Model, (Murid Contoh,

Murid Cerdas, Murid Cerdik, Murid Cergas, Murid Ceria). There are 4 module need to be followed. There are Respect, Helping, Appreciate the

kindness and Language skill. This programme will be run for two months and each module will be done for every two weeks. After each module

done, there will be the personality test as mentioned above. assessed by the Mentor for each student and class. The assessment report will be

submitted to the coordinator every two weeks. This means 4 times He will have to make an assessment. This programme is actually to

motivate students to become excellent student, responsible and knowledgeable and also to create awareness about the importance of

Page 6: Action Plan

discipline and responsibility to maintain self-discipline. In order to create a culture conducive consistent with the vision and mission of the

school, the discipline of the pupils should be concern from the beginning.

It shows how 'networking' created very successful and effective for student activities will only be known by us to just get the information

from the students as well. Information is essential in dealing with discipline problems. For that purpose other than networking available, we also

provide several channels of very practical which the students do not know the source of the information obtained. For example, The teachers

provide a box of complaints in several strategic places. This process allows a bit-by instinct assimilation occurs between students and thus

hopefully the objective can be achieved as planning. Indirectly, by doing so, the whistleblower will feel safe and can relieve their pain that

caused by latency information which can disturb them due to the fault of others.

Intervention for students who violate rules and discipline of the schools while enhancing their personality. Students are required to carry

out charitable work / welfare and activities / religious works and approved by the teacher / guru hostel. Students within the program are required

to attend a counselling session with a counsellor . After the charity / welfare, religious activities and counselling sessions according to the

number of books PPS has been completed then the student will be sent to the PPS to report to the principal. Throughout the program, students

are involved is entirely under the control of Teachers Dormitory, Dormitory and TP Head Teacher and Student Affairs. If within this program

student discipline violations, the student will be charged under the category of medium-disciplinary offense and if the student is a repeat offense

will be prosecuted under heavy category.
