Long-term Goal
Adopt 21st century teaching approaches to build deep conceptual understanding in mathematics.
Short-term Goals
Encourage students to achieve learning goals by forming collaborative groups or peer.
Cultivate the trend of discussion, sharing, listening when others are speaking and being responsible for one’s own learning.
Use of Bloom’s Taxonomy(The Incredible Teaching Tool)
The hierarchy of Bloom's Taxonomy is the widely accepted framework through which all teachers should guide their students through the cognitive learning process
Teachers choose the appropriate cognitive level for classroom objectives and a quality assessment is designed to measure how well those objectives have been met
Here are the 6 levels of Bloom's Taxonomy and the corresponding verb examples:
Remembering: arrange, define, list, memorize, name, order, recognize, relate, recall, repeat, reproduce, state.
Understanding: classify, describe, discuss, explain, express, identify, indicate, locate, recognize, report, restate, review, select, translate,
Applying: apply, choose, demonstrate, dramatize, employ, illustrate, interpret, operate, practice, schedule, sketch, solve, use, write.
Analyzing: analyze, appraise, calculate, categorize, compare, contrast, criticize, differentiate, discriminate, distinguish, examine, experiment, question, test.
Evaluating: appraise, argue, assess, attach, choose compare, defend estimate, judge, predict, rate, core, select, support, value, evaluate

Conclusion
Implementation of 21st century approaches is all about spreading enthusiasm for mathematics, strengthening mathematics intuition, improving analytical capabilities, fostering mathematical creativity and ingenuity and promoting sense of competition and achievement.
