EQUALIZATION
Influent quality must be defined through load and flow equalization
Effect of fluctuation in temperature, salinity, & toxic chemical need to be controlled by equalization and/or spill basin
Extreme wastewater must be released slowly from spill basin to activated sludge aeration chamber
