A Beautiful LifeFor God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever

believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

Sister Bobbie Jean Jackson was born on June 13, 1946 in Overton, Tx to the late Kelly and Geraldine Daniels Jackson. She united with Bates Memorial C.M.E. church at an early age. She attended C.B. Dansby High School and graduated in the class of 1964. She also attended Tyler District College (Texas College) where she majored in Education for three years. She united with J.B. On March 10, 2003 she united in holy matrimony to Vernon Ray Moss and together they had a blended family of 11. They joined El Bethel Baptist Church. In 2010 after the death of her husband she moved back to Kilgore and joined Kilgore Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Barnerders Woods where she remained a faithful and active member until her health declined. She worked at Strohs Brewery for more than 20 years. After living three years past her promise, Bobbie went to claim her crown on Wednesday, May 13, 2020. Her beautiful presence and her melodic voice will be deeply missed and forever loved. She is preceded in death by her husbands, her daughter Keycier Moody, sons J.B. What My Aunt Meant To MeAunts have no wands or wings,So, they work with wisdom, love, and things.Having taken on this role,You loved us right down to our soul. You offered kindnessAnd greetings with a hug and kiss,Each freely out of love which we will miss.We chose a twinkling star in the sky at night,To say a prayer for you to it’s bright light. You’re in God’s Heavens now and no longer in pain,In our thoughts, you’ll always remainHow lucky we was,How blessed we’ve been,You were more than our Aunt,You were also our friend. We love you and miss you Aunt BobbieYour Gemini the other Great-Great nieces and nephews

We Refuse to Say GoodbyeThis is so very hardBut we know we’ll make it thru.We will forever refuse...To say goodbye to you.Your absence is just temporaryFor it won’t be too longTill we’re together againThat’s what keeps us pressing on.

Love always and forever,Your Children

We Had a Wonderful AuntWe had a wonderful aunt,One who never really grew old;Her smile was made of sunshine,And her heart was solid gold; Her eyes were as bright as shining stars,And in her cheeks fair roses you see.We had a wonderful aunt,And that’s the way it will always be.But take heed, becauseShe’s still keeping an eye on all of us,So let’s make sureShe will like what she sees.Love always,Your Great Nieces and Nephews

Weep Not For MeWeep not for me though I have goneInto that gentle nightGrieve if you will, but not for longUpon my soul’s sweet fightI am at peace, my soul’s at restThere is no need for tearsFor with your love I was so blessedFor all those many years

There is no pain, I suffer notThe fear is now all gonePut now these things out of your thoughtsIn your memory I live onRemember not my fight for breathRemember not the strifePlease do not dwell upon my deathBut celebrate my life

Love always,Your Nieces and Nephews

If Tears Could Build a Stairway If tears could build a stairwayAnd memories were a laneWe would walk right up toHeaven And bring you back againNo farewell words were spokenNo time to say goodbyeYou were gone before we knew itAnd only God knows whyOur hearts still ache in sadnessAnd secret tears still flowWhat it meant to lose youNo one will ever knowBut know we know you want usTo mourn for you no moreTo remember all the happy timesLife still has much in storeSince you’ll never be forgottenWe pledge to you todayA hallowed place within our heartsIs where you’ll always stay

Love always and forever,Your Grandchildren

Broken ChainWe little knew that morningGod was to call your name.In life we loved you dearly,in death we do the same.It broke our hearts to lose you,You did not go alone. For part of us went with youThe day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories,Your love is still our guide,And though we cannot see you,You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one,The chain will link again.Love,Your Children 9

Sleep, My SisterWe wish you sweet sleep, our sister dear.Although there’s so much that you’ve left bareWe hate that you had to endure such painOn our mind, your saddened eyes have left a stain. We want to know what crossed your mindUnspoken words you’ve left behindUndone things we’ll never doNo sharing thoughts you never knew.A peace has fallen upon your headA taste of sorrow we have been fedIt really is like a hole in our livesOne swiftly dug but carved out by knives. But we have hope that those sleeping will riseThe Bible says that God will open their eyes.No suffering, sickness, yes not even pain,Those who did good, eternal life they’ll gain. So… sleep on my sister, sleep tightFor now with you the sky is night. But after night will come daybreakTherefore we will wait hoping to see you awake.Love,Sisters and brothers 9

Poem of LifeLife is but a stopping place,A pause in what’s to be,A resting place along the road, to sweet eternity. We all have different journeys,Different paths along the way,We all were meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay…Our destination is a place,Far greater than we know. For some the journey’s quicker,For some the journey’s slow. And when the journey finally ends,We’ll claim a great reward,And find an everlasting peace,Together with the Lord.

12OmmawGod looked around his garden and found an empty space. Then he looked down upon this earthAnd saw your tired face.He put his arms around youAnd lifted you to rest.God’s garden must be beautifulHe only takes the best.Love always and forever,Your Great Grandchildren
