and increasingly stringent diesel emissions regulations, T.R.U.E.-Clean® Max
technology empowers our customers to keep moving forward, advancing
their emissions and performance goals.
The diesel particulate filter (DPF) is a powerful tool for removing particulate matter (PM) from diesel exhaust. But as the pollutant accumulates on the filter, exhaust flow can become restricted. This causes system backpressure to rise, and negatively impacts engine performance and fuel efficiency—resulting in higher costs.
T.R.U.E.-Clean Max’s active thermal management technology helps to keep commercial vehicles a step ahead of fast-changing emissions regulations by fully and consistently regenerating the DPF to provide PM control—even while the vehicle is in service.
T.R.U.E.-Clean Max overcomes the challenges of DPF regeneration, working in situations where engine exhaust doesn’t reach the minimum temperature required for cleaning. This makes T.R.U.E.-Clean Max an excellent choice for both on- and off-road vehicles that experience low speeds, low load and low ambient temperatures.
T.R.U.E.-Clean Max can displace the diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), eliminating use of platinum group metals (PGMs) and associated price volatility. It is also sulfur-tolerant, making T.R.U.E.-Clean Max the ideal PM solution for Brazil, China, India, Russia and emerging markets that lack an ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD) infrastructure.

• Integrates DPF with SmartFire, exclusively licensed ion-sensing combustion control technology that provides unmatched reliability and responsiveness
