Third Quarter 2015 July — September

JULY

The Navotas Anti Drug Abuse Council conducted a City-wide Anti-Drug Abuse

campaign through drug awareness and prevention lectures to all its Grade 6 students

through which this Office provided Anti Drug Abuse Lectures covering the following

schools for the whole month of July 2015;

Wawa Elementary School July 2, 2015

Navotas Central Elementary School July 7 & 13, 2015

Navotas 1 Elementary School July 10 & 14, 2015

Tanza Elementary School July 20 & 21, 2015

San Roque Elementary School July 23, 2015

A BADAC Training was also conducted by this Office as per request of Brgy. 179

Amparo North Caloocan City last July 5, 2015 held at Tierra Fontana Resort, San Jose

del Monte Bulacan. The event aimed to continually equip and hone their BADAC and

BPSO by establishing and orienting their Auxillary Team through the program;

Series of Drug Free Workplace Seminar was provided to the security guards/officers

of Victory Liner held every Friday of this month (July 10, 17, 24 & 31). The activity is a

prerequisite for the company to craft their drug free workplace program.

AUGUST

Provided an Anti Drug Awareness Training for the Principals of Novaliches

District, Quezon City entitled “Roles and Responsibilities of Principals in

Promoting the Anti-Drug Campaign in Schools” on August 14, 2015 held at

Our Lady of Fatima University Lagro Campus;

Two activities of Mission to Help the Poor Group Incorporated were

attended by this Office. First one is Leadership Training for the GPTA of

Bagong Silang Elementary School of Bagong Silang Caloocan City on August

14, 2015, and the members of 1-A Tanod of Barangay Bignay Valenzuela City

on August 30, 2015;

An Anti-Drug Awareness lecture was also provided to the residents of

Satima Asuncion Village located at Las Piñas City – an adopted community

of the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA. The event was held on

their communtiy chapel on August 15, 2015.

The Quezon CIty Anti Drug Abuse and Advisory Council conducted a series

of Anti-Drug Abuse campaign through which several barangays had been

covered to wit;

Barangay Batasan Hills August 22, 2015

This Office through Information and Public Education Section provided

lecturers to discuss Drug Identification and Ill Effects and RA 9165 on the

above Drug Awareness Campaigns.

Part of the abovementioned activity of QCADAAC is a Drug Awareness

Lectures to the inmates of BJMP Kamuning, Quezon City (male dorm).

SEPTEMBER

Provided an Anti Drug Abuse Seminar to the participants of Leadership

Seminar with a theme “One Community Against Drugs and Crimes”

conducted by Mission to Help the Poor (MITOHETPO) Association

Group Inc. on September 4, 2015 at Silangan Star, Barangay Bagong

Silang Caloocan City. AIDSOTF and the office of the General Manager of

Local Government of Caloocan also were present on the event and also

provided lectures;

Conducted Drug Awareness Lecture to the Senior Criminology students

of La Concepcion College of San Jose del Monte Bulacan held at the

PDEA Activity Area on September 12, 2015. The Seminar serve as

reinforcement to the classroom discussion and integrated to their Crime

Detection and Investigation subject;

A Drug Free Workplace Seminar was held at the Philippine Airlines

Pasay City on September 22, 2015. The event is a precursory activity

provided by this Office to help the top airline to conceive their Drug Free

Workplace Policy. The Seminar was attended by the airline personnel

and their service providers;

On September 23 and 30, an event conducted by this Office in

partnership with Quezon City Anti-Drug Abuse and Advisory Council

(QCADAAC) entitled “Barangay Anti Drug Abuse Council (BADAC)

Functionalization” which aim to train and equip the BADACs of Quezon

City.
