TITLE: “Mask-Up” Ground Graphics

SUMMARY:On the second day of in-person classes we were notified that the president was not happy with our students' masking habits as they approached campus from their living areas. We were tasked with creating new signage ASAP to help address this concern.

STEPS TAKEN:• We worked with Communications/Graphic Design to create a new

ground graphic stating “Be Prepared to Mask”.• We identified over a dozen areas of campus where students would be

entering from by walking campus with our Environmental Health & Safetystaff.

• We printed and installed these signs within 48 hours of the intial request.

END RESULTS:While these signs were only one part of a broader campus signage initiative, actions like this where we were able to plan and implement within days shows the value of having an in-plant at the university’s disposal.
