ALLAH raised 124,000 Prophets & Messengers to guide humanity to fulfil the purpose of its creation, beginning from ADAM, the first man. Leading Prophets were

NOAH, ABRAHAM, MOSES, JESUS & MUHAMMAD, the Final & Universal Prophet. ALL Prophets preached the Religion of ISLAM – Submission to ALLAH; they were MUSLIM.As the Final Prophet, MUHAMMAD delivered, through The QUR'AN, the Religion of ISLAM

in its renewed, complete & perfected form for all humanity, for all time. This is the simplified Genealogy of the 25 Prophets mentioned in The QUR’AN.*

Equality & Unity in DiversityThe Ka’bah is the spiritual centre of Islam, a sanctuary & symbol of unity. Muslims, men & women, of diverse races & nations, languages & colours, cultures & class, unite as “One Human Family worshipping One God.” Islam is not an Arab religion, but the universal Religion for all peoples.

How Muslims Practise IslamLove God, Do Good to All

• Love Allah & submit to His Guidance in The Qur’an. Muslims testify that “There is none worthy of worship except Allah, & Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.” Muslims affirm their faith with good works.

• Follow the Final Prophet, Muhammad, because he was the most unique, complete and excellent role-model. “If you love Allah, follow Muhammad.” [3:31]

• "Worship The Creator, Serve His Creation" to bring about a better world. Worship in Islam includes all beneficial & permissible acts done for Allah's sake. Muslims "enjoin all that is right, & forbid all that is wrong." [3:110]

• Perform Obligatory Acts of Worship known as the 5 Pillars of Islam to develop God-consciousness so as to become better human beings. These are the Testimony of Faith, Formal Prayers five times daily, Charity (Zakat), Fasting in Ramadan & Pilgrimage (Hajj) to Makkah.

• Be Responsible Caretakers of the environment & all creatures.“Do not cause corruption on the earth after it has been set in order.” [7:56]

NE Human Family, NE DirectionNE Human Family, NE Direction* The One & Only God whose Arabic name is Allah. Allah is the sole Creator & Sustainer of the universes & all that exists. Humanity is created "to worship Allah." [51:56]

* Angels are beings created from “light” who execute all of Allah’s commands unfailingly. The Arch-Angel Gabriel brought Allah’s messages to the Prophets.* Divine Guidance sent to humanity through Prophets & Messengers. A Prophet was a man appointed by Allah to receive & convey Divine Revelation. A Messenger was a Prophet sent to deliver the message of Islam to a nation. 313 of the

124,000 Prophets were Messengers [Source: Al Baihaqi, Al Sunan al Kubra, 9.4, Hadith #17489]. Allah mentions the names of 25 Prophets in The Qur’an.

* Books of Divine Revelation given to chosen Prophets. The 4 Books Allah mentions in The Qur’an are the Torah of Moses, the Psalms of David, the Gospel of Jesus & the Final Revelation, The Qur’an, revealed to Muhammad. The Qur’an is the only existing authentic Revealed Book because it is preserved intact in its original form, contents & language. Also, Abraham received Divine Revelation in the form of Scrolls.

* Accountability in the Hereafter: Personal free choice & responsibility in our worldly life, Life after death, End of the world, Resurrection, Day of Judgment, Paradise & Hell-fire.* Divine Destiny, in which nothing, good or bad, occurs without Allah's Knowledge &

Permission; "Allah has power over all things." [5:120]

* True Success for human beings means to fulfil the purpose of their creation, & thus to attain eternal happiness in the Hereafter, & it is achieved through Islam.

Islam means submission & self-surrender to the Will of Allah, which results in peace. Islam is the complete way of life based on obedience to Allah's Guidance. As preached by Prophet Muhammad, Islam is in its final, complete, perfected & universal form.

A Muslim is one who submits & surrenders to the Will of Allah, adopts the way of life based completely on Allah’s Guidance, & thus attains peace within himself, with fellow human beings & with the environment, and ultimately the reward of Paradise, & salvation from punishment of Hell-fire, in the Hereafter, by the Mercy of Allah.
