WHO WE ARE
ADC is a privately owned corporation established in 1992 as a Proprietary Limited Company under South African Law based in close vicinity to Johannesburg, South Africa. ADC Projects Limited was established in 2012 in Hong Kong.
The Company also has a permanent establishment in Mozambique, and a full time European presence in Austria.
ADC specialises in Project Development, Project Management and Engineering Services to the heavy industry, with specific interest in the energy sector.
Where Clients are in need of electricity, ADC develops Power Generating Facilities, and arranges equity and debt funding through a well-established network of financiers and investors.
As part of our service offering, ADC also provides Operation and Maintenance Services for Power Generating Plants and associated Transmission and Distribution infrastructure on behalf of our Clients.

ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT ADC provides comprehensive power generation and transmission engineering support services during project development, construction, commissioning and during the operational phases of power facil it ies.

CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION
ADC Site Representatives communicate site activities, identify risks and implement corrective measures to ensure both contractual and legal compliance. ADC's transparent approach is characterised by regular reporting and regular Cl ient l iaising.
On-site services:
• Developing, implementing and controlling quality, environmental, and health and safety systems; • Monitoring / controlling site activities; • Ensuring Contractor legal compliance; • Conducting / guiding pre-commissioning and commissioning activities; and, • Ensuring proper handover of new facilities. OPERATIONS &
MAINTENANCE ADC has long-term contracts to operate and maintain electricity generating facil ities and integrated transmission and distribution faci lit ies in South Africa and Mozambique. Our Operators are fully trained and well-qual if ied to operate and maintain power generating and electrical faci l ities on behalf of our Cl ients. They are also qualif ied and l icensed to switch high voltage equipment in terms of the applicable regulations. Experienced head off ice management and engineering staff supports these on-site teams. ADC provides these services to Developers and Owners of power plant faci l it ies, and is able to structure the services to meet the specific requirements and preferences of our Cl ients.
Operational services:
• Fulltime operations and monitoring of power generating and integrated transmission and distribution facilities; • Procurement and management of spares; • Performing all maintenance tasks that are not contractually required to be performed by the original equipment supplier; • Managing of breakdowns and interfaces with suppliers; • Ensuring legal compliance in accordance with all applicable regulatory requirements; • Performing of all business administration associated with the operations; • Preparation of technical and financial reports.

SPECIAL PURPOSE COMPANIES MANAGEMENT ADC can do the management for Special Purpose Independent Power Producer Companies on behalf of the Company Owners and Lenders. We are currently performing such services on behalf of an international IPP.

QUALITY CERTIFICATION All ADC processes, procedures and work methods are based on international ISO standards. The Company is ISO certif ied for “The Development and Management of Projects, Engineering Support Services and the Operation and Maintenance of High Voltage Electricity Generating Plants” through the International certif ication body; Intertek.
