Principals response: Existing product specifications GSM/GPRS communication simultaneously Device configuration over the air 20 Channel GPS high sensitivity receiver GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz frequency, SMS,GPRS UDP/TCP Power source: DC 8-35V Back-up battery: 950mA, 3.7V - Up to 24 Hr Supply Power consumption: < 8 mA @ DC 12V (GPS off, GSM off, 3D G/I/O sensors on) Serial port: 1 - Driver RFID or Mobile Data Terminal Input port: 4 digital input ports Output port: 4 digital output ports Memory: Built-in 4MB flash memory Operating temperature: -20C to +80C (w/o battery equipped) Up to 24 Hour Backup Battery Virtual Odometer Question 2: Also after the awarding of this tender, who will be responsible for the management of these units and the associated data and provide the necessary technical support to ensure these units are fully functional? Principals response: Data and device management City of Gold Coast has an extensive mechanical workshop including radio technicians and auto electricians. The technical aspects of the device functionality will be monitored by these workshop employees. Technical advice/assistance from the vendor will be required. All asset data is managed and updated by The City’s Administration Officers using SAP software. All data pertaining to the vehicles fitted with GPS devices will be uploaded from SAP (exported to MS Excel/CSV) to the vendor software. The City’s Administration Officers will be responsible for any additional data requirements. In terms of reporting, reports will be accessed only by officers identified as requiring reports for operational reasons and these officers will have the ability to run reports, but all data changes will be restricted to the identified The City’s Administration Officers.
