PRC Sports Field & Athletics Facility CIVIL WORK

This Addendum forms part of the Contract Documents and is to be read, interpreted and coordinated with all other parts. Tenders submitted without this Addendum might be considered incomplete. This Addendum must be acknowledged in the Tender Form.

1. OWNER SUPPLIED MATERIALS

Organic matter amendment will be made available to the Contractor at no cost. The material is stockpiled at the solid waste site located at 120 Birnie Road. The site operator will provide loading services (no hauling). A location map and hours of operations is provided on the following webpage: http://www.rdno.ca/index.php/services/engineering/solid-waste/garbage/rdf-hours-locations A copy of the soil analysis is enclosed for reference.

2. Gas Sleeves

Fortis BC (Gas) will be designing an alignment for a gas service from the east side of the site to the future buildings (by others). The design will be made available to the Contractor prior to asphalt placement. The Contractor is to install a gas sleeve beneath all proposed hardscape along the alignment. The installation of the gas service will likely cross the 3.0m wide asphalt pathway and the 1.5m wide concrete pathway near the stairway and possible the asphalt pad for the hammer/discuss throw. This work is incidental and no additional payment will be made.
