The following information supplements and/or supersedes the bid documents issued on October 20th, 2017,
12:00 PM PDT.
This Addendum forms part of the contract documents and is to be read, interpreted, and coordinated
with all other parts. The cost of all contained herein is to be included in the contract sum. The following
revisions supersede the information contained in the original drawings and specifications issued for the
above-named project to the extent referenced and shall become part thereof. Acknowledge receipt of
this Addendum by inserting its number and date on the Tender Form. Failure to do so may subject bidder to
disqualification.
1. Doors & Door hardware: See Drawing A2.2 attached.
Office Doors: D202, 206, 207, 208, 212, 213 changed to lock sets, note on schedule.
- ALL FIRE RATED, ENTRY DOOR CLOSURES TO BE LCN4040XP OR EQUIV.
- ALL CYLINDRICAL LOCKS TO BE SCHLAGE AL SERIES OR EQUIV.
- ALL EXIT DEVICES TO BE 22 SERIES OR EQUIV.
- ALL MEDIUM USE, FIRE RATED CLOSURES 1461 OR EQUIV.
- ALL THRESHOLDS TO BE DRAFT STEEL OR EQUIV.
- ALL WALL STOPS & KICK PLATES TO BE GALLERY HARDWARE OR EQUIV.
2. Windows: Match existing aluminium frame as per specified in drawing A2.2 attached.
3. Ceiling Tile: T-bar Tile - Armstrong Cortega Second Look II - a 24 x 48 with scored line so it
appears like a 2 x 2, or equiv. 2 x 2 lighting proposed in electrical drawings to remain.
4. Millwork specifications: See updated Drawing ID-1 and ID-2 attached.
5. Stairwell treads: See updated Drawing ID-1 and ID-2 attached.
6. Washroom 207,208 mechanical clarification: The upper floor washrooms have been
plumbed, but currently there are no fixtures, finishes and the walls have been framed only.
7. Where is DHWT-2 relocated from? See as-builts, above in area with currently no floor.
8. Are there as‐built drawings for electrical and mechanical? See attached.
9. Stack Vents: The 2 existing stack vents shown on second floor drawings - Contractor to
breakout cost to keep stack vent as-is with additional fin-walls or move as per original
drawings in A2.2.
10. What is the R-value standard for the new roller O/H Doors? Because these O/H doors will be
used for frozen fish storage, the typical R2+ value for a roller O/H door should be sufficient.
11. Will bidders be revealed to the general public? No.
