Additional Local Rules The Championship will be played according to the effective versions of: • The Rules of Golf. • The EGA Local Rules and Terms of Competition (Hard Card) • The following additional local rules (which replace all other local rules at the club). • Any additional Local Rule and any additional Term of Competition as approved by the Committee. Unless otherwise noted, the penalty for breach of a local Rule is the General Penalty. Matchplay: Loss of Hole Strokeplay: Two strokes Internal Out of Bounds (Modal local rule A-4) During play of hole 4, all of hole 1 is Out of Bounds defined by white stakes. These stakes are treated as boundary objects during play of hole 4. For all other holes they are immovable obstructions. During play of hole 8, all of hole 15 is Out of Bounds defined by white stakes. These stakes are treated as boundary objects during play of hole 8. For all other holes they are immovable obstructions. Penalty areas (Rule 17) Unmarked ditches are deemed to be red penalty areas. Abnormal Course Conditions (Rule 16) 1. Ground under repair Animal hole: Free relief is available for lie of ball or area of intended swing, but there is no relief for interference to the stance. 2. Immovable obstructions Tee signs (not tee markers) are defined as immovable obstructions. 3. Protection of young trees The young trees identified by attached supporting stakes are no play zones. Model Local Rule E-10 is in effect. 4. Ant hills Ant hills are defined as a No Play Zone. Model Local Rule E-8.1 is in effect. Scoring Area Scoring area is situated in the Tournament Office. Recorder is Frida Bräster. Rules Officials Jan Rye (Chairman), Stefan Bergström, Martin Gavelin, Magnus Grankvist, Stefan Ståhl. According to Rule 20.2a a decision of a Rules Official is final. Only the Rules Officials have the right to interpret the Rules of Golf, Local Rules and Terms of Competition for the European Ladies’ Team Championship.
