14. February 17, 1872 – the Gom-Bur-Za were executed at sunrise by order of Governor General Izquierdo despite the archbishop’s plea for clemency.

15. June 1872 – Doña Teodora was suddenly arrested on a malicious charge that she and her brother, Jose Alberto, tried to poison the latter’s perfidious wife.

16. June 10, 1872 – Jose Rizal, accompanied by Paciano, went to Manila.

17. March 1873 – Rizal returned to Calamba for summer vacation.

18. June 1874 – Rizal returned to the Ateneo for his junior year.

19. June 16, 1875 – He became an interno in the Ateneo.

20. March 23, 1877 – Rizal received from his Alma Mater, Ateneo Municipal the degree of Bachelor of Arts, with highest honors.

21. June 2, 1876 – Rizal wrote the requested religious drama in poetic verses at his home in Calamba and finished it.

22. Nov. 25, 1881 – Rizal received the title as surveyor because he passed the final examination in the surveyor course.

23. May 1881 – Rizal went on a pilgrimage to the town of Pakil, famous shrine of the Birhen Maria de los Dolores.

24. May 20, 1982 – The Razilian secret mission was likewise disclosed by Paciano in his letter to his younger brother.

25. May 8, 1882 – Rizal saw a beautiful island while he was in steamer approaching Singapore.

26. June 16, 1882 – Rizal finally reached his destination –Barcelona.

27. Nov. 3, 1882 – Rizal enrolled in the Universidad Central de Madrid in two courses – Medicine and Philosophy and Letters.

28. June 24, 1884 – A touching incident in Rizal’s life in Madrid occurred.

29. June 25, 1884 – the Filipino Community celebrate the double victory of the Filipino artist in the National Exposition of Fine Arts in Madrid.

30. Nov. 26, 1884 – Rizal wrote to his family from Madrid that his doctorate is not very value to him because he believed that the Dominican will never appoint him as a university professor in the College of Santo Tomas.

31. Jan. 1, 1886 – Rizal wrote his parents that he rapidly improved his knowledge of ophthalmology.

32. Nov. 27, 1878 – Rizal wrote to Enrique Lete that he learned the solfeggio, the piano, and voice culture in one month and a half.

33. Feb. 3, 1886 – Rizal arrived in Heidelberg, a historic city in Germany famous for its old university and romantic surroundings.

34. April 22, 1886 – Rizal wrote a poem entitled “A Las Flores de Heidelberg” (To the Flowers of Heidelberg).
