• Legitimate internet traffic fails to reach the destination due to:• Outdated filters• Outdated black list / bogon list reference

• RIR blamed for allocating ‘bad’ blocks• Situation worsens as IPv4 depletes

• More bad blocks get uncovered• Prefix gets recycled
