Auto Populate of UDACT-2
• Simplifies the work of programming the UDACT-2’s assigned points with
the correct function type (required for the Central Station to receive correct
operational reports)
• Each point’s function type is determined by the Type Code assignment of
the host panel input device that is pre-programmed and associated with this
point
• There is a unique correspondence between these Type Codes and the
UDACT-2’s function type. For instance:
- If a NFS2-3030 has a heat detector programmed into one of its loops then the
UDACT2’s corresponding point will need to have its function programmed to
“Heat Detector”.
- If it’s a Security module then the UDACT2’s corresponding point will need a
function of “Burglary”.
• This feature will automatically determine and program this correct function
for each UDACT-2’s point, when possible, eliminating manual intervention.

Auto Populate of the UDACT-2
• NFS2-303 Demonstration
Starting with no UDACT
programming in the panel. Then install a UDACT type
Annunciator. Annunciators
points will be mapped after
SLC devices are installed.
Then install your Detectors
customized to particular type
codes.
Then install your Modules
customized to particular type
codes.
Now map your devices to
the individual UDACT ACS
points.
Now switching to the UDACT-
2 programming service: The
default function type for all
ACS points is “Fire Alarm”.
After the “Auto Populate”
button is clicked and you
confirm by selecting “OK” to
the popup, these points will
be automatically programmed
without manual effort.
