FEBUS develops a new generation of sensor system for the maintenance and monitoring of infrastructures. This innovative equipment allows the monitoring of pipeline over long distance (several tens of kilometres) and helps to prevent pipeline failures. Using standard optical fibres, it measures the strain and temperature of a pipeline with a high precision over 50 km with an accuracy of 1 meter. Our product will detect any deformation of a pipeline that could be caused by ground movement, earthquake, corrosion or permafrost and can also detect intrusion, and such, prevent damage from excavation.
