Langston University Adjunct Professor Pay Scale

This document will be used to determine the pay rate for persons teaching at Langston

University in an adjunct status which ranges from 1-8 hours of course work. One Credit Hour Class $650.00 per credit hour

Maximum earning $650.00 $50.00 per student, if less than 13 students enrolled in a class.

Two Credit Hour Class $650.00 per credit hour Maximum earning $1,300.00

$100.00 per student, if less than 13 students enrolled in a class

Three Credit Hour Class $650.00 per credit hour Maximum earning $1,950.00

$150.00 per student, if less than 13 students enrolled in the class.

Four Credit Hour Class $650.00 per credit hour Maximum earning $2,600.00

$200.00 per student, if less than 13 students enrolled in the class.

Five Credit Hour Class $650.00 per credit hour Maximum earning $3,900.00

$250.00 per student, if less than 13 students enrolled in the class

Six Credit Hour Class $650.00 per credit hour Maximum earning $3,900

$300.00 per student, if less than 13 students enrolled in the class.

Undergraduate Instruction

$650.00 per credit hour $150.00 per student, if less than 10 students enrolled in the class

Graduate Instruction (all campuses)

$725.00 per credit hour $217.50 per student, if less than 10 students enrolled in the class

Accounting (undergraduate)

$733.50 per credit hour $169.30 per student, if less than 13 students enrolled in the class

Accounting (graduate)

$875.00 per credit hour $262.50 per student, if less than 10 students enrolled in the class

Electronics $800.00 per credit hour $184.00 per student, if less than 13 students enrolled in class

Computer Science $800.00 per credit hour $184.00 per student, if less than 13 students enrolled in a class

Nursing $3,000 per semester to supervise students one clinical day per week

$6,000 per semester to supervise students two clinical days per week

Physical Therapy $1,000 per credit hour

Laboratory Assistants $50.00 per contact hour Graduate Assistant $2,500 per semester
