TheBromsgroveSchoolAdmissionsofficeishappytohelpandtoadvisetheparentsofallpupilsconsideringentrytoBromsgroveSchool.PupilsmaygainadmissiontoBromsgroveSchoolinanyyeargroup,butthemainpointsofintakeareatKindergarten(Pre-Prep),Year3andYear7(PrepSchool),andatages13+and16+(SeniorSchool).However,parentsseekingplacesfortheirchildrenarewelcometocontacttheAdmissionsdepartmenttodiscusstheavailabilityofplacesinanyyeargroup.AdmissionduringthecourseofanacademicyearisbyspecialarrangementwiththeAssistantHead.

Scholarshipsareofferedtobothinternalandexternalcandidates.Interviewsand/orexaminationsareverycompetitive.
Scholarshipexaminationsandinterviewswillnotnecessarilytakethesameformeveryyear.Papers(especiallythosesuchastheHeadmaster’sEssaypaper)aredesignedtotestpotentialasmuchaswhathasbeentaughtandremembered,andthereisinevitablyanonthedayfactorthatmayrewardcandidateswhohaveyettoshinefullyintheircurrentschool.

FromApril2011,fundingforthefreenurseryeducationentitlementof15hoursforeligiblethreeandfouryearoldswillbedeterminedbytheEarlyYearsSingleFundingFormula.Eacheligiblechildisentitledtoamaximumof5sessionsof3hoursperweek.Therateschargedfortheadditionalhours,includinglunchaftertheallocationoftheNEFsessionsareshownbelow:
