Challenging workflow
Original Ad
1. No ties between master ad and its copies:Editing of ad copies of the same original ad – challenging
(hard to locate if they don’t bear the same name).

General guidelines:
▸ All serving related actions have been moved from the Ads list to the Delivery group context.
Thus, Delete, Disable and Rotation Settings – are done on the Master ad, through the Delivery Group.
▸ Creative related actionsCan still be done on each ad copy separately, without affecting any of the other copies.

Upgraded and non-upgraded accounts’ work
Upgraded Agency Not upgraded Agency
Upgraded Creative shop √
Once an ad is attached to a non upgraded campaign, it will behave according to the old process.
Not upgraded Creative shop
Ads attached to upgraded campaigns will behave according to the logic used in the new platform. √
Because the agency’s upgrade status determines the behavior of new campaigns in the system:
Thus, the Master ad would become “Not attached ad” and would be attached to a placement, as the old process dictates. Once attached, this ad will switch location to the All Ads view.
When trying to edit such ads, the system will alert the user of the consequences of it.

Backward Compatibility - Upgraded users’ view
Item View
Master Ads List Will display ads that are related to “New” campaigns
In case an ad is not related to a campaign yet, it will appear as master ad.
All Ads view Will display both ads that are related to “Old” and “New” campaigns (the status of the ad will indicate the relation to campaign).
Actions would be permitted on the ad according to the campaign it is related to.

Ads List New campaign -The original ad would not be ‘attached’ (because it is considered a master ad in the system and a master ad is never attached itself).
-Users will be able only to assign ads to a new campaign but not attach to placements.
-Ad copies cannot be deleted or disabled.
-A master ad that was attached cannot be deleted.
