The sculpture posesses many intriguing qualities: The 3D form of the sculpture is based upon the flowing curvature of arbitrarily-created curves expressed by the stream of wind that passes over a car: a stronger curvature on the 2D plan equates to a sharper angle when transferred into a 3D element. WyndStream is a proposal for the Wyndham City Gateway Project. It draws upon the changing qualities of tur-bluence formation inherent within fast-travelling vehicles to create multiple dynamic moire effects along the highway. The sculpture posesses many intriguing qualities:

The 3D form of the sculpture is based upon the flowing curvature of arbitrarily-created curves expressed by the stream of wind that passes over a car: a stronger curvature on the 2D plan equates to a sharper angle when transferred into a 3D element. The spaces between the bottoms of these lines is constant, whilst the dis-tance at their tips changes dynamically with the curve.

The moire effects created within the lines elements are vastly different based on both the viewer’s perspective and theit speed. A change in distance produces a sharper (or looser) pattern, whilst their speed determines the rate at which the pattern changes. This means that inbound and outbound traffic have very different inter-pretations of the sculpture, expressing its ingrained experential qualities.
