Several transformational initiatives underway are expected to impact gas-fired generators directly: Market renewal, expanded energy and capacity exports, nuclear rebuild, changes in NUG contracts, and possible changes in CES contracts. These activities may result in gas fired generators being dispatched differently than today and/or requirements for different fuel supply structures. This in turn may lead to different utilization of current gas services and possibly requirements for different upstream gas services.
