Course Pre-requisites

Course has no pre-requisites but participants having knowledge of fluid mechanics and numericalmethods would get extra advantage. Participants having no previous knowledge of CFD can gothrough our blog “Introduction to CFD”. The course assumes that you are well versed with thebasics of Fluid mechanics and Mathematics at early engineering graduation level.

The course will introduce you to fundamental concepts of meshing, all the operational knowl-edge of ICEM-CFDTM. Software focused training will be provided to master the techniques ofgeometry creation and meshing, hexameshing and tetrameshing in ICEM-CFDTM.

Course Benefits

A certified participant will be able to conceptualize and implement geometrical components onANSYS ICEM-CFD and gain proficiency in different types of mesh creation using ICEM-CFDTM

The objective of the course is to help the participant master the key software applications andpractically apply the techniques of Geometry creation and meshing, hexameshing and tetramesh-ing in ANSYS ICEM-CFD. Participants can take courses, tests and submit assignments at theirconvenience. We have created a 24 X 7 learning environment; where in the participants (if re-quired) can complete the course in less than 4 weeks. Working professionals and students locatedat distance have found these online extremely useful and they addresses their needs without trav-eling or attending the classroom session (which can clash with pre committed appointments orwork-schedule).

Course Format

The class consists of lecture videos, which are broken into small chunks, usually between fifteenand twenty minutes each. Total duration of the course would be six weeks. There will beapproximately two to three hours of video content per week. Software tutorials are made availablefor practicing and developing software skills on typical test cases. At the end of each sessionthere will be assignment to be taken each week and a final exam at the end of the course. Youwould be eligible for certificate if and only if you complete the course. The completion of thecourse would be decided on the basis of your solution to the problem set and assignments andwould also depend upon your successful qualifying the the final exam.
