Advanced Capping TechnologyCompany History

Founded in 1963 under the company name of Werner Steinbach Maschinenbau Mannheim

➢ First machines built in 1963 were semi automatic cappers type PP136 for ROPP Aluminum closures.

➢ In 1973 ALCOA acquired the business which meanwhile had started building also fully automatic capping machines with up to 20 heads. Also Decappers were added to theportfolio.Apart from cappers for ROPP closures also cappers for RingPull and crown cork capperswere added to the product portfolio as well as plastic closure cappers.

➢ In 2008 ALCOA sold the CSI capping equipment division to RANK. The product portfoliowas continously extended to meet customer requirements.

➢ In 2019 RANK sold the capping business to ClosureLogic and the company became CL Machinery GmbH. The product portfolio covers capping equipment for all packagesavailable for the beverage industry as well as other markets.

The closure will be formed according to the specification and rollers will

form the threads and Tug Under band.

depth, thread and pilfer

Lift up headset. Forming plunger remains on the bottle. Rollers return to starting position.

7.-9. Second application cycle. Final forming of thread and pilfer band.
