ADVANCED SOLUTIONS FOR MARINE POWER ENGINEERING
Integrated Automation Systems
Based on many years’ experience in the shipbuilding market and expertise in shipboard equipment we developed Integrated Automation Systems (IAS) for marine vessels.
Our custom-designed IAS are widely used in the na-tional shipbuilding industry.
The IAS we offer include:
■ remote control of the main propulsion; ■ power management system; ■ automatic control of the machinery and the engine-room systems; ■ cargo control systems; ■ alarm and monitoring system.
Chemical tankers «Philipp Essberger» and «Georg Essberger», dry cargo ships of «Valdai» and «Rusich» type are fitted with MO automation systems and cargo handling systems produced by our company.
«Moskva» and «Sankt-Peterburg» diesel-electrical ice-breakers are also equipped with our technical facilities’ integrated control system.
Our systems fully satisfy the requirements of major Maritime Classification Societies
6
Freely Configurable Systems based on Advant Controllers
We design marine automation control systems on the basis of cutting-edge Advant Controller AC500 technology and new-generation computers.
Advant Controllers have a certificate of type approval from leading Maritime Registrars BV, DNV, LR, GL and RS.
Due to diversity of Advant Controllers and feasibility of their adaptation to various engine room condi-tions it is possible to choose suitable automation control system considering general purpose of the vessel and its technical facilities.
Both distributed & integrated automation systems are fulfilled on the basis of Advant Controller tech-nology.
In order to meet customer’s requirements we de-veloped several types of operator control stations allowing utilization of various control & monitoring interfaces: from simple ones on LCD panels for text data representation to sophisticated ones based on modern PCs with graphic data representation in Windows.
Whatever types and configurations of operator inter-faces are, our custom-designed marine automation control systems fulfill various control and monitoring functions of a wide range of shipboard equipment.
Consoles for engine control rooms
At the Customer’s request alongside the equipment supplied by our company the equipment of any other supplier may be installed in the consoles.
In recent years our department has gained a wealth of experience in development and manufacture of con-soles for engine control rooms including a fly bridge, a central control room and a cargo control room.
Our specialists design and manufacture ships’ consoles of diverse configurations and types both for closed spaces and for installing on open deck.

Switchboards (DSB)
DSB may be both custom- made and designed in accordance with test specifications TU 3488-173- 00216823-2007 approved by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping. The supplied equipment ac-cording to test specifications includes standardized switchboards with modular double-pole and three- pole circuit breakers 400 V and 230 V; the switchboards’ size (height-width-depth) ranges from 400x500x210 to 700x500x210 mm, the number of 3-pole circuit breakers varies from 4 to 18 pieces, the number of 2- pole circuit breakers varies from 6 to 26 power pieces.
Automatic Power Network Switches and Automatic Power Network Switches - Starters
Automatic power network switches are designed for automatic change-over power supply to consumers from main power network to backup network in case of power outage in primary distribution network, and automatic transfer from backup network to main net-work after voltage recovery. Light alarm indicates the availability of voltage in primary and backup networks.
Automatic network power switches-starters are de-signed to control squirrel-cage induction motors, with electric motor automatic restart after voltage recovery.
Automatic network switches and automatic network switches - starters are supplied in accordance with test specifications TU 3427-166-00216823-2006.
