L to R: 3 Generations - Jay Reilly, JJ Reilly and Paul Mahar“It’s so hard to find a good mechanic you can trust”, said acustomer in the waiting area. The woman had been takenadvantage of with a car repair she had the week before atanother repair shop in Clifton Park. If you could see the cobjob that had been done to her car and the price she paid, youwould be appalled and disheartened as she was. As consumers,we are at the mercy of whomever we bring our vehicles to forrepair. I find this especially true as a woman.Nestled on Old Miller Rd. in East Greenbush you will find a familyof mechanics that you can trust. Three generations of Reilly’swork together, Jay (referred to as Sr.), JJ (his son), who areboth ASE Certified, and Paul Mahar (Jay’s grandson). In thefront office/waiting room you will meet Pat Reilly (Jay’s wife)who has more knowledge of automobiles than most trainedmechanics. J&J Reilly Automotive was founded in 2004. The business hasgrown and grown since then, as the word spread that the workperformed there is of the highest quality, they never dounnecessary repairs and is a place you can bring your vehiclewith confidence that you will not be ripped off. It’s worth shopping around for pricing when having work doneon your vehicle. With more and more chain shops moving intothe area, it’s easier to end up spending way more than youneed to.J&J Reilly Automotive offers the best pricing in town for exhaustsystems, tune-ups, suspension, brakes, oil changes, detailing, free diagnostics, replacement or rebuilt transmissions andengines. All their work is guaranteed and they will beat anycompetitor’s price. They also offer free coolant and batterytesting. They not only do repairs, they can help you protectyour vehicle with reasonably priced expert detailing.

ALL ARE WELCOME AT ST. MICHAEL’SWith the marking of Ash Wednesday, the Christian Communityhas entered a period of preparation for our observance ofHoly Week and Easter Sunday. Easter is central to the tenetsof our Faith, with its focus on the reality of Resurrection, redemption, and rebirth. Some local Congregations haveannounced a homecoming theme in their Lenten observance, which reflects these concepts, and we at St Michael theArchangel Parish join in “welcoming home” all who wish to joinus. Following the leadership and example of our Parish LifeDirector, Sister Katherine Arseneau csj, we remain mindful ofthe diversity of need and interest in those around us, andwelcome all who enter our door. We invite any who have beenaway from church for a while, to return and join us in thisseason of preparation and renewal. St Michael’s has beautiful, participatory liturgies and activities planned for Lent and HolyWeek. This includes a covered dish communal meal followingour celebration of The Lord’s Last Supper on Holy Thursdayevening, 3/28. Please access our website www.stmichael-troy.com for a listing of Lenten opportunities. If you havequestions, please call Sister Kate at 283-6110. You will bewelcomed at any and all of our services.
