There were a total num- ber of approximately 200 youth served - with 64 participating in the bicy- cle rodeo. Kittanning Borough Police Chief Bruce Mathews served as the safety instructor. The Armstrong County Sher- iff’s Department partici- pated by providing fin- gerprinting, fitting and handing out over 100 bicycle helmets. Finalizing the event was a drawing to give out Pictured in front, (Left to Right) are the Drug Awareness ball winners: Andrew Yaskula, Andrew Patton, Nick Fruehstorfer, Matilyn Panchik Bike/helmet winners included (Left to Right): Emmit Tar, Lyla Firment, Aiden Bradigan, Hayleigh Kutch, Kayden Baum, Allie Panchik, Brea Ingram, Jayden Moore Gracie McGinnis, Donovan Stitt, Liam Rupp, Lydia Rupp, Ryleigh Atherton, Caleb Baker Corbin Laird, Mackenzie Bure, Ethan Walker and Charity Mangus with the Armstrong County Sheriff’s Department flanked on the left of the picture and Police Chief Bruce Mathews on the front right with his daughter, Emily, in the black shirt behind him standing with County Sheriff Bill Rupert. 18 bicycles with helmets in different age catego- ries ranging from 2-13. Also utilized the Drug Awareness Trailor along with “Elroy the Elk,” Elks drew four names to win a basketball or soccer ball.
