The Ohio Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers is the largest professional social work organization in the state—with 4,400+ members—and the only organization that represents social workers in every area of practice. The Association is committed to advancing the social work profession (and its practice), promoting human rights, social and economic justice, as well as enabling full access to services for everyone. Members work in health care settings, community agencies, government, academia, business, nursing homes, schools, adoption, clinical private practice, and more. Ohio Update is the primary method of communication to the Ohio Chapter’s 4,400 members. The newsletter is printed in color, and mailed to all members. It’s well-read by social work professionals and students and highly regarded for its design and content.

Newsletter volumes are: January–February, March–April, May–June, July–August, September–October, and November–December. Members receive newsletters during the first week of the first month of the volume. Ad submissions are due on the 1st of the month prior to the first month of the volume.

Purchase Mailing AddressesMailing addresses for Ohio Chapter members can be purchased for $0.20 per member. You may request addresses from specific regions or counties and mailing addresses may be used only one time. Email addresses are not available for purchase.

The NASW e-newsletter is emailed to all Ohio Chapter members who provide e-mail addresses. The e-newsletter gives you a link to your website for readers to learn more about your organization. Ad submissions are due the last day of the month prior to the month of the e-newsletter.
