Our Amsterdam office houses a crack squad of top notch recruiters & marketers, and we’re currently searching for an enthusiastic, fun and comprehensively smart casual person to join our international, dynamic marketing force. We have an ‘open’ policy in the office, meaning you will not be chained to your desk, or in a pressure cooker, but being yourself side-‐by-‐side with the team – which will be just great for you because we are a fairly agreeable bunch of chaps. Additionally, we have a pool table, company boat and splendid Herengracht canal view. About the Job Communication is the key to success. You will be working hand in hand with the Head of Marketing in order to ensure exceptional execution of our monthly publication. As an Advertising Sales Intern you will have the following responsibilities:

• Locate and contact potential clients to offer advertising spaces • Explain to clients how specific types of advertising will help promote their products or

services in the most effective way possible • Provide clients with detailed estimates of the costs of advertising products or services • Process all correspondence and paperwork related to accounts • Inform clients of available options for advertising art, formats, or features and provide

samples based on clients’ needs • Deliver advertising or illustration proofs to clients for approval

With no limitations to the above-‐mentioned responsibilities you will be attending meetings, events and planning sales schedule to be executed in a timely manner along with the marketing team.



This position compromises a great deal of responsibility and trust. You will be taking ownership of your work and will be given mentoring to your needs, growing your skills on a personal and professional level. The internship will prepare you as a sales professional in dealing with day-‐to-‐day activities as well as challenging ones. You will be able to grow your network and meet peers in the industry. About You You are young, creative and hard working person who, preferably, is in their final phase of studies. The ideal candidate must have the following skills:

• Majoring in Media / Business Management study • 0 – 2 years of (advertising) sales experience • Persuasive skills to get clients’ accounts as fast as possible • Possess strong knowledge of marketing • Ability to communicate in a clear manner with clients and prospects for them to see

the benefits of placing adverts • Strong interpersonal skills for building a good relationship with clients and prospects • High attention to details • Proficient at setting goals and meeting targets • Creative and open mind set • Self motivated and takes initiative • Social and outgoing • Strong commercial skills • Proficient in English (extra languages are a big plus) • A spine of steel combined with gentlemanly, and / or ladylike, qualities
