AVL-DCompressed Air LoaderAEC’s compact AVL-D Series Venturi Loader isa portable system designed to load drums orsmaller containers by evacuating granulatorbins, gaylords or storage hoppers by usingshop compressed air to efficiently transfermaterial from the bin to the drum. Theoptional premium control upgrade providesmany additional energy efficient features andprovides visual indication and alarms for highlevel conditions of the granulator and thedrum to alert operators and help preventprocess shut-down.

AVL-A, AVL-B, AVL-CCompressed Air LoadersThese highly efficient, self-contained loaders usecompressed air and an efficient venturi to drawmaterial from drums, bins, material bags, orgaylords. A simple control assembly is easy tooperate and makes this loader a good choicefor many single loading material conveyingapplications.

Single Conveying
SRL, SLC and SRILHopper LoadersSRL, SLC and SRIL loaders are used toconvey material into the processingmachine from storage containers orfrom nearby storage containers. TheSRL01 is used for virgin material andclean additives only. The SLC02-16models can be used to convey virginand regrind materials.

SRH, SRC, SRIVacuum ReceiversSRH/SRC vacuum receivers are used ateach loading point in a central vacuumconveying system. 0.03, 0.1, and 0.2 cu. ft.(0.79, 2.8, and 5.6 liter) receivers are not tobe used on single line “Y” systems, andSRC04 receivers are not recommended.They should be used beside the machineor with dedicated lines.

APD, APDB, APC Vacuum PumpsAEC has several types of ultra-compactvacuum power units to suit your conveyingneeds. The APD Series Vacuum Pumpuses a high-efficiency, quiet, positivedisplacement blower and can beutilized to convey pellets and regrindover long distances. The APC SeriesVacuum Pump uses a quiet, regenerative/vacuum blower and can be utilized toconvey free-flowing pelletized materials.

AFC-S, AFC-SC Filter ChambersThe AFC-S Safety Filter is used as a centraldust and fine collection receiver to protectthe vacuum pump from damage. Itoperates as part of a central conveyingsystem and is controlled by the centralconveying control panel. The cyclonicchamber of the AFC-SC is used as a pre-filter in central dust and fine systems toprotect the vacuum pump from damage.
AFC-S Features:• Filter surface area of 50 sq. ft. (4.62 m2), rated for systems up to 360 cfm (610 m3/hr)

11 Vaccum�Pressure Systems
Powder is separated fromthe vacuum airstream by afilter receiver and meteredinto the pressure side.
Quick change manifoldsassist material distribution.They are used to conveyhigh volumes of powdermaterial long distancesfrom railcars into storagesilos.
Dual motor/blower systems are available with filtersdesigned specifically for powder or other dustyapplications. Vacuum/pressure systems for powder aresimilar to pellet systems except they are equipped witha filter receiver rather than a cyclone separator. Thisensures separation of the material and maximum dustcontrol.
The rotary airlockseparates the vacuum andpressure sides of thesystem.
The heart of the system is amotor/blower assembly withan air-operated vacuumrelief valve. The positivedisplacement blower isprotected by a two-stage,high velocity filter assembly.
A railcar manifold aids theremoval of material from the railcar into bulk storagesilos.
Material is separated from theairstream by a cyclone or filterreceiver. Material drops througha rotary airlock and is conveyedby pressure to a takeoff into asilo.

The single motor/blower system deliversapproximately equal airflow on the vacuum andpressure sides. For this reason, the motor/blowermust be located approximately halfway between thepick�up and delivery points of the system. If locatingthe assembly at that point is not feasible, or ifhigher through�puts are required, the dualblower/dual motor system is recommended.
