The Aerospace Unit of TECNALIA contributes actively to the most relevant social trends, such as Society, Safety or Security, being an expert and independent source of advice to governments and public bodies. TECNALIA coordinates ESA’s Space Technology Transfer Programme in Spain. The mission of this Programme is to promote the transfer of space technologies to terrestrial applications. To conduct this task, on the one hand, TECNALIA identifi es and assesses space technologies that might be transferrable to non-space applications. And, on the other hand, analyses the technology needs of non-space sectors. Finally, TECNALIA acts as intermediary and puts in contact space technology donors with non-space sector technology receivers.
