Introduction

The Elegant Sabiana air conditioners allow, at veryeconomical cost, to heat and cool small and mediumsize environments, like shops, show rooms,workshops, supermarkets.

The range is made up of 15 models: 10 RE models,for heating only and 5 PE models, for heating andcooling. All models are for ceiling installation and forhot/chilled water supply.

The air conditioners are supplied with a 3 speedmotor. On request motors with integrated electroniccircuit are avaible, they allow to control the air flowfrom 0 to 100%.

The intake of the air is from the bottom side of theunit and the air supply is from the 4 lateral gridswhich have individually controllable louvres for thebest distribution of the air.

The connection to the battery can be made eitherfrom the upper or from the lateral side, in accordanceto the installation with or without false ceiling.

The condensate drain is made through anelectronically controlled micro-pump, supplied onevery standard PE model.

Different remote controls of the air flow and ofthe room temperature are available and it ispossible to control up to 10 units with only 1remote control.

Beside the low installation and running cost, theElegant air conditioners offer the followingadvantages:

they take a low amount of the valuable space inthe room, there is not any ducting system and thewalls are free.

they are versatile and provide flexibility ofinstallation: also where there is no false ceiling itis possible to distribute the air evenly.

they provide easy control and are easilyinstalled.

CASING

The casing is made of steel onboth top and bottom sections andit is designed to give greaterstrength and quieter operation.The casing is then phosphatisedand finished with an epoxy-polyester powder coating dried at180°, in white RAL 9010.The lower casing is also thecondensate collection tray.The casing is fitted withgalvanized steel screws and so itis possible to quickly dismantle itfor inspection when needed.

PACKAGING

Every Elegant air conditioner issupplied in a robust cardboardbox with the relevant installationand maintenance manual.

CONDENSATE MICRO-PUMP

The PE model for cooling isalways supplied with an integralmicro-pump (discharge head 3m,water flow 6l/h). The pump isinstalled in the condensatecollected tray. This pump controlsthe level of the condensatecollected in the tray and eliminateit when necessary.

To prevent the pump fromblocking and malfunctions in thecondensate detection system,check that there are no significantquantities of oil in suspensionand/or dust in the room beingtreated.

ELECTRIC MOTOR

Standard motors are with closedframe, IP44 protection, F classisolation, 3 speeds, for 230V-1PH-50HZ supply. The motor isfitted on its support by the meansof anti-vibrating mounting.

HELICOIDAL FAN

The fan is with aluminium bladesstatically and dynamicallybalanced. Its rational high-capacity profile provides themaximum air volume with theminimum energy consumption.The fan hub is secured onto themotor shaft and it is protectedby a finger proof guard.

OUTLET GRIDS

The discharge of the air isobtained through 4 grids on the 4lateral sides. The grids are madeof steel, painted with epoxy-polyester powder. They are madeby a frame in which the louvresare individually adjustable. It isvery easy to take off these grids,allowing for easy maintenance ofthe battery and of the condensatetray.

HEAT EXCHANGER

The heat exchanger of the ElegantSABIANA has a circular shape andis constructed of copper tubes withaluminium fins and steel headers.The supply and return connectionshave a female threading, 1” diameter,and they allow the connection eithervertically from above or horizontallyfrom a side.The battery is supplied in two versions:with 1 row and with 2 rows.

WARNING

In cooling systems- always install the unit with a small inclination

towards the hydraulic connections side,in order to allow a good suctionof the condensate micro-pump.

- you are recommended to shut off the watersupply to the coil using the 2/3-way valves,electrically connected to the control withthermostat, to avoid condensation formingon the outside of the unit.

Condensate alarm sensor

This alarm sensor has to be installedby the mechanical engeneer and itstops the water supply in case themicro-pump is not working.The sensor has to be fitted at theinternal vertical part of the lowercasing, close to the connections andat 10 mm. from the bottom.In case of need the control stops thefan and the valve and the alarm led isswitched on.The use of the valve is suggested inorder to stop the water supply.
