They are: Varshita Verma of class IX-B -Group B: National merit rank -28 , City merit- 1, School merit- 1. Isha Agarwal of class X-B -Group C: National merit rank -31 , City merit-1 , School merit-1. NSO level II Shreya Chaturvedi of class IX-B secured VI position in the zone. She was awarded a merit certificate and gifts worth Rs 1000. Success at school begins at home ! Parents are the single most important variable in predicting a child’s success in school. Parent’s model—both a silent and a spoken language in front of their children.

In the 12th Environmental Competition , two of our students were awarded a certificate of

Clash of Clans Patriotic Group Singing Competition -To instill love and patriotic feelings in our students, the cultural

association organized a patriotic group song competition on 28th July for classes 6-8 .

Winners are as follows:

First position - Green and Yellow House Second position - Red House Third position - Blue House

The Hindi Association conducted a number of competitions for various classes on 28th July to enhance

the communicative and oratory skills of students.

Recitation Competition was conducted for classes I - III, for which the winners were declared section

wise.

Elocution Competition was held for classes IV & V and VI - VIII on the topics ‘Beti hai to kal hai’ and

‘importance of elders in the family’ .

Debate Competition was also held for students of classes 9th–11th on the topic ‘Excessive use of mobiles

is harmful for health and progress’.

Results are as follows:

Nukkad Natak Competition - On 28th July, Nukkad Natak was organized for classes IX-XI on the theme

‘Stop Pollution and Save Environment’. The Blue house won the I position followed by Yellow and Red

houses in the 2nd 3rd positions.

Widening the Exposure……….

A healthy outside starts from the inside...

A Teacher Training Program by Pidilite Industries was held at Food Court at DD

Mall , Gwalior which was attended by our Art Faculty Mrs. Shruti Shrivastava and

Mrs. Preeti Agarwal. It was a three day session (6th -8th July 2017) organized with the

objective of producing creative work with minimum investment . The session

included : Use of liquid embroidery colours, creating craft with Shilpkar clay and

decorating glass bottles.

To make our class XI and XII Commerce students aware

of the concept of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) , a

session was held in the school on 7th July 2017. Mr. Vikas

Phulwadhia, former secretary of CICASA, Gwalior was

invited to share his valuable insights of the new taxation

system with the students. It was a fruitful session as it

led to a clear perception of GST.

Healthy - isn’t a goal , it’s a way of living . Procter and Gamble organized an awareness session on ‘Health

and Hygiene’ on 26th July 2017 for 7th std students and their mothers. The session, made the wards and

their mothers aware of necessary steps to a hygienic way of life.

Happy Feast of Mother of Carmel

Put God first and you’ll never be last. A prayer service was held during the

school assembly when we anticipated Carmel Day on 15th July.

The purpose of education is to make good human beings with skill and expertise... Enlightened human beings can be created by teachers.
