Affinity enriches these visual tools with programmatic data and automatic design validation analysis that helps to en-sure design accuracy in SD and DD.
Affinity design validation helps to ensure the SD model is accu-rate before transitioning into Revit, so designers can use it con-fidently as a starting point for design. Affinity design validation also continues to run in Revit, adjusting to real-time changes and alerting the designer if any program requirements are violated.

Project teams benefit from the 3D editing capa-bilities of SketchUp as well as data-rich 2D editing within Affinity, including user-friendly drag-and-drop design. Users can drag a program item to Affinity SD, which brings across the correct shape, size, color coding, furnishings, and associated pro-gram data automatically.

Designers have access to detailed Room Data Sheets and reports from within the Affinity Panel. The Room Data Sheet updates automatically to reflect current information and displays potentially hundreds of room properties and associated graphics, which can be formatted to user standards. Validate Design in Real-TimeAffinity maintains a connection between the program data and design throughout SD and DD. Affinity continues to validate design-to-program compliance in real-time to ensure the design is guided by the client’s requirements. The Affinity Panel makes program views and reports available directly in Revit. Designers can view alerts and discrepancies using the Affinity Panel, or directly in room tags.
Reduce Re-Work: Seamlessly Transition from Schematic to Detailed DesignOnce SD is complete, use Affinity + Revit integration to synchronize the program data and design with Revit. The Affinity Tool-bar in Revit provides access to all of the critical synchronization options. Designers can choose from specific scenarios, phases, and more.
Drag-and-Drop Design in RevitTo continue designing in Revit, simply drag-and-drop program items to Revit with the correct shape, size, room layout, and properties. By dragging rooms from the pro-gram, designers automatically establish a connection between the design and program without any extra effort. Designers can also choose to place entire departments at once, or create a new room in Revit and assign it to the program.
