This third edition of the Continental Dialogue Platform renamed Africa Creates Jobs (ACJ) takes place as a virtual event from 3rd to 4th November 2021. The continental event was preceded by five Regional Workshops https://www.nepad.org/programme/africa-creates-jobs and the Continental Skills Anticipation Conference which held 16-17 September

2021 https://www.nepad.org/skillsportalforyouth/publ icat ion/conference-communique-ski l ls -anticipation-and-matchingafrica. The key themes and recommendations that emanated from these events will be presented at the ACJ!2021 with a view to formulating recommendations towards a Call for Action focused on solutions, innovation and action.

ACJ!2021 Expected OutcomesThe ACJ!2021 will agree on key milestones for a skills revolution that meets the demands ofour ever changing world of work, with expected outcomes as follows:

- The ACJ!2021 as platform for dialogue with purposeThe overall ACJ!2021 conference theme is: Driving a Responsive and Agile Skills and Jobs Agenda for Economic Growth for African Youth.

Through this theme, the ACJ 2021 aims to acknowledge the significance of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) for Africa’s integrated economic growth. It furthermore aims to use the vision of the AfCFTA to spur stakeholders in the skills development and job creation ecosystem to consider the required investments and interventions required to enable young people to exploit the opportunities it presents.
