PREDATORY ANIMALS
A LIONA lion is a big animal. A lion
has got a long tail, big ears and a
great mane. It is said that a lion
is the king of the jungle. It
belongs to the predatory animals
and it's dangerous . They
weight from 110 to 250 kilos .
Lions are very intelligent
animals . Lions live in the plains
of Africa.
A CHEETAH
A cheetah live in warm
climates in the grasslands. This
beatiful cat is the fastest runner
in the world. A cheetah can
run as fast as 70 miles per hour.
It has got dots of its body. It
kills other animals and eats
their meat.
A TIGERA tiger lives in South America. They
eat meat. They have short orange fur
with black stripes. Adult males reach
over 300 kg of body weight over 3 m
in total lenght. They jump very well
and usually hunt alone. A tiger can
also swim very well, and it can kill
its victim in the water. The largest
wild population lives in India. In
some regions of India , tigers are
considered as sacred animals.
A LEOPARD
❖A leopard lives in Africa and southern
Asia. It is very similar to the silhouette
and color of the jaguar. There is a
different pattern on the hair. It is a
solitary , hunter at night. When a leopard
attacks it can jump for 6 metres . Some
leopards have black hair and are called
black panthers.

NILE AND ROSARY
CROCODILESNile and rosary crocodiles are the most
famous species of crocodile. They live in
Africa and have got a greenish colour.
Crocodiles have excellent sight they see
in the night , grow throughout their
lives. Crocodiles are the largest reptiles
on Earth. Some may be over 7 meters in
lenght. They live mainly in sweet water
in hot climates.

A ZEBRA
A zebra lives in Africa . It lives in large
flocks. It is has got black and white
stripes and it looks like a horse. Plains
zebras occurs in Savannas and Steppes in
the South- eastern Africa, from southern
Ethiopia to the east of South Africa.
Plains zebra can accelerate to a speed of
60 km/h. Zebra reach sexual maturity at
the age of 4 years. Plains zebras live for
30-35 years.
A GIRAFFEA giraffe is animal which can be
mostly found in Africa or in zoo .
It is large and heavy. It has a long
neck and a small head. Its eyes
are large and black. The colour of
giraffe is cream with brown spots.
Giraffes eat mainly grass , leaves
from trees and bushes.Thair
impressive height helps them to
pick up food.
AN
ELEPHANT
The elephant is the biggest animal
living on land. Elephants are only
herbivorous. They live for seventy years.
An adult elephant drinks 225 liters of
water each day. It has a long trunk and
a long tail and large nails. He must eat
about 200 kg of food every day.
Elephants are killed for the ivory and
they are in danger of extinction.

A HIPPOA hippo is a huge animal. It is
thick. Althought it is a large animal,
the tail is short. He likes long stay in
the water , practically he doesn't go
out on land . It isn't hairy and its
skin is rough. It eats special food
for aplle. It lives in Africa , but also
in zoo. It likes to eat friuts and
vegetables. It can swim very well,
but in can`t run fast.
A RHINO
A rhino is grey. It has a big white
horn on his nose. There are five
types of rhinoceros: White, Indian ,
Javan, Black and Sumatran. Each
of the species have distinct
variations that set them apart.
Black and white rhinos live in
Afrika. The Indian rhino lives in
India. The Javan and Sumatran
rhinos live in Indonesia.

A DROMADERY
A dromadery lives in Africa.
They can withstand many
days without drinking. In
their humps their stor fat.
While travelling, they go one
after another to form a
caravan.

A MONKEY
A monkey is a very friendly animal but
sometimes it can be dizzy. Monkey has
got long tail, big ears, wide paws.
Monkey a mammal and it lives in
jungles. they eat fruit and some plants.
They are small and big, it depends on
kind. A monkey, is very clever and agile,
it an move fast in the trees. I think that
everyone wants to have a small monkey
in his house .
SNAKES
SNAKESSnakes are present on all continents. They
all have a very long body and are without
legs. They swallow their victims alive.
Snakes strangle or kill other animals.
Snakes constrictors
They likes hot climates. The most famous are : a
boas and a python.
Venomous snakes
In this group there one snakes that kill
animals injecting a poison into the
victims'bodies
The most known venomous snakes are a
cobra, and a mamba rattlesnakes.
