So:
• If we need something ‘smart’, it is a smart urbanism & new normative ideas of the city
• We need a globally networked urbanism if we want to allow the Global South a ‘leap frog’ into sustainable cities
• As infrastructures sets defaults, make sure that they deliver what you want them to achieve to the city
It all begins with data…
•… but ultimately we need more collaboration: What are the coalitions that can make a smart urbanism work?
•What are the opportunities & pitfalls?
•How to spot ‘lock ins’, avoid new ones, illuminate new potentials for human growth?
