Activities presented by professional instructors include: tumbling, acrobatics, mini tramp, trampoline, unicycle, aerial trapeze, lyra, tissu, rope & Spanish web, juggling, plate spinning, diabolo,

hoops, pois, rola bola, stilt walking (hand held & strap-ons), clowning, performing & more.

Introduction to Circus Skills: 6-7 & 8-10 yrs: 4.00-5.00pm: $165 Students progress with our confidence building program with acrobatics, mini tramp, hoops, juggling, rope climbing, stilts & more.

Circus & Aerial Skills: 8-10 & 11-15 yrs: 5.15-6.45pm: $242 or for enthusiasts who wish to commence 4.45pm add an extra $44 Be challenged with acrobatics & tumbling, aerial awareness & skills, gain overall improvement in wellbeing and celebrate achievements in our 2014 costumed production under lights. Ideal for students with good strength & flexibility who enjoy performing.

Acrobatic skills include for/backward rolls, dive rolls, kick to handstand, cartwheels, round offs and for the more experienced student aerial somersaults, for/backward walkovers, back flips, hand springs etc.

Private tuition : $88/hour OR in groups of 4: $22 to $44 each for 30-60 mins

January School Holiday Program 2014

Special Two-day Program for K-7 yrs: Tuesday & Wednesday 14 & 15 January

Ages: 5 & 6 years Times: 9.30am – 12.30pm Cost: $99 Program: An ideal introduction to circus skills especially for kindergarten students to experience age-appropriate activities including aerial skills, balance beam, tumbling and mini tramp, plate spinning, juggling with fine silks etc.

Circus & Aerial Intensive or Circus & Trampoline Intensive: Monday 13 January to Friday 17 January

Ages: 7-10 & 10-15 yrs Times: 10am – 2.30pm Cost: $330 or book 2 months in advance & receive a 20% discount= $264 or 1 month in advance & receive a 10% discount= $297 Current after school students automatically receive a 20% discount = $264 Program: For students keen to be challenged with activities presented, to progress with skills individually and as a team for the finale presentation for parents & friends on Friday 17 January at 1.30pm.

4. NO places are available on day of commencement.

Guidelines for parents and carers:

• For any urgent matters please call Circus Unique’s mobile number 0402 020 498.

• Students are required to bring a water bottle to classes and nutritious food to holiday workshops.

• Shorts, tracksuits, stretch pants & runners are ideal for classes and please remove any jewellery.

• All students need to be dropped off and collected from the hall. Ideal arrival time is 5-10 mins prior to commencement. The Principal of St Scholastica’s College has requested parents and students to use the main school gate entrance and take no responsibility for any injuries incurred at the back entrance with delivery vans.

• If a student’s behaviour is affecting other students and it is not resolved within a short time then parents are notified.

• For safety reasons non-participating children are not allowed on the equipment.

• Any photography can be taken after class or during the ‘presentation/display of skills’.

• No refunds are available once the term or holiday program have commenced. No bookings are taken on the day.

• Circus Unique reserves the right to change times and dates to ensure appropriate class size.
