Wire & Cable Guangzhou 2016 and Electric Power Asia 2016 drew its curtains amid great praise from both
exhibitors and visitors. The fair, which ran from 6 – 8 June 2016 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex
in China. Wire & Cable Guangzhou organised by China Southern Power Grid Media Co Ltd, Guangzhou
BoYou Exhibition Service Co Ltd, and Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd. The three-day show was
attended by 453 exhibitors (including 350 wire and cable exhibitors and 103 electric power exhibitors) and
18,869 visitors from 25 countries and regions, of which 3,700 buyers are from overseas.

As partner of China Southern Power Grid, the subsidiary of China Southern Power Grid Media Co., Ltd. joined in the fair and became one of the organisers, which brought our first appearance in the fair. We came back here for the second year with the aim to promote our new products and company image. We hope to come in contact with target customers from State Grid, province grid, civil power grid, property and large-scale municipal engineering. Compared to last fair, no matter the scale, the passenger flow volume and the exhibit greatly improved. It’s the third time exhibited at Wire & Cable Guangzhou, as China Southern Power Grid Media joined in the fair this year, which strengthened the fair and brought more potential client base for the fair. Forum
The first edition of the Wire and Cable Asia Forum, which ran alongside the exhibition from 6 – 7 June, welcomed more than 700 industry experts. A total of 19 conferences and seminars were held, with topics ranging from government policies to the manufacturing of high-voltage cables and power grid projects to standards for electric vehicles.

The forum not only helped our association members promote their products, but also provided market information and technological know-how for attendee specailising in the wire and cable industry. Invited speakers from neighboring countries and regions including Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan and others came to the forum to share their insights on various wire and cable related topics.
