The A.G.A. Groups nurseries extend over 35 hectares with more than 100 ponds,
4 multi-span houses, numerous poly tunnels and acres o open growing space. We have nearly
30 years experience in supplying aquatic plants to the trade or uvial, civil andbio-engineering, as well as conservation and landscaping projects.
We can grow aquatic plants rom customers locally harvested seed or original plant stock to
provide the level o provenance required.
A.G.A.s own plant stock is supplied either as root trainers, pot grown or as is becoming more
popular, mature bare root plants harvested rom our fsh ree nursery ponds.

Planting projects are only undertaken by us after a thorough inspection of the site to ensure the habitat will support
the introduced aquatic plants. Where required by clients, our consultants will work out population requirements, spe-
cies selection and best planting coverage to optimise plant coverage.

We can supply over 300 species o grass and wild ower seeds o known provenance. We mix species to clients specifcations or
will advise on suitable mixtures or the location.
Technical advice
We oer technical advice and a supply and install service or the planting o
marginal and aquatic species together with ull project management rom concept to
completion.
Contract Growing
We have specialised acilities or large scale contract growing.Bareroot plants are supplied as individual mature rhizomes for example as with Iris or
as a root stock clump as with Juncus species. Alternatively we have our own purpose
made root trainer tray, designed specifcally or the growing o reeds and aquatic
plants or the landscape, environmental and civil engineering industries.
The A.G.A. Group installation teams operate solely within the ield o aquatic and bioengineering. We operate apolicy of Best Practice and are bound by the Code of Conduct of both the Institute of Fisheries Management andthe Society of Biology. The A.G.A. Group will quote for the supply of materials, their installation or for 'turnkey'
projects.
