This Talk

Agricultural Innovation will be a key issue to combat hunger and poverty

in the world in the next years,

Access to information is one of the key issues for Agricultural

Innovation.

Information on fundamental research, applied research, technologies

and good practices is growing exponentially.

The traditional channels to access this information have become

insufficient to guarantee access.

Multilinguality has become a bigger issue as ever before.

A linked open data infrastructure between plurilingual resources is

necessary.

A key element of such an infrastructure are linked multilingual

vocabularies.

The EC FP 7 granted project agINFRA is working to make such

vocabularies globally available and to provide tools for creating a linked

open data environment.
