DIRECTIONS Britchcombe Farm is situated immediately under White Horse Hill on the Berkshire Downs, about 1 mile to the south of the Village of Uffington. The farm adjoins the B4507 Wantage to Swindon road. From Wantage, follow the signs for “Waylands Smithy” on the B4507. Follow this road for about 6 miles and the sale field will be found signed on the right hand side.
From M4 Motorway junction 15, take the A419 dual carriageway as if for Swindon. About 1 mile from Junction 15, turn off at the roundabout adjoining the Great Western Hospital. Take the road in an easterly direction, signed for Wanborough. Continue on this road for about 6 miles, passing through Bishopstone and Ashbury, as signed for Wantage. The sale field will be found signed on the left hand side of the road, about 2 miles after passing through Ashbury.
If approaching from the north, take the A420 Oxford to Swindon road. Shortly after passing Faringdon, take the next turning left, signposted for Fernham and Uffington White Horse. In Fernham, turn left at the T junction and on leaving the village, turn right, again signed Uffington White Horse. In Uffington village, turn right and take the second right, signed again for White Horse Hill. At the next cross roads, turn left and the sale field will be found signposted on the left.
The postcode is SN7 7QJ
