High torque at low speed ranges

High-pressure injection with up to 20,300 psi (1,400 bar)

Large, constant power range

Extended maintenance intervals

Engines are suitable for RME. Conversion kits are available for trouble-free operation with vegetable oil

The Agrotron 120–180.7 Series’ 6-cylin-der, 6- or 7.1-liter Deutz turbo dieselengines have a rated power of 1800 rpm.

Electronic Engine Control (EMC)Agrotron engines feature state-of-the-artelectronic engine control (EMC). Enginesensors supply the EMC with continuousinformation that is constantly comparedwith the programmed optimum engine rat-ings for power, torque and fuel consump-tion. Optimum values are automatically setin every load situation so you get pre-dictable, reliable performance, no matterwhat the application or task.

Starting TorqueThese Deutz engines have a very highstarting torque of up to 35 percent aboverated speed. This high starting torqueensures that the tractor pulls off efficient-ly, quickly and smoothly on slopes, evenwith very heavy loads.

Torque PlateausConstantly high torque plateaus are anoth-er important feature exclusive to Deutzengines. The torque plateau, which rangesfrom 1100 to 1700, provides the enginemaximum flexibility — even at low speedranges — so shifting can be delayed untilthe speed drops to as low as 1200 rpm.All engines have a minimum torque rise of34 percent.

Quiet OperationAgrotron’s design minimizes noise outputwith a rigid, ribbed crankcase, soft com-bustion, exhaust turbocharger and liquidcooling, as well as double-shell insulationinside the engine cowling, a flexible intakeand flexible exhaust pipe mounting.

210PowerShuttle lets you change direction without pressing the clutch.

RESPONSIVE, INTUITIVE, FINGERTIP-CONTROL SHIFTING

Agrotron tractors feature reliable, track-proven 7200-series ZF transmissions.

This fully synchronized transmission is com-prised of three main components: a 4-speedPowerShift, 6-speed main transmission withwet clutch and a 4-speed creeper gear.

Closely Graduated Speed RatiosWith 40 forward/reverse speeds thetransmission is closely graduated. Speedsrange from 1,247 feet per hour (380 m/h)up to 31 mph (50 km/h), depending ontires and transmission. There are 10speeds in field working ranges from 2.5mph to 9.3 mph (4–15 km/h).

The PowerShift function can increase ordecrease working speeds by around 20percent to 17 percent, respectively.

PowershiftWith PowerShift you can select four differ-ent speeds in all six gears, as well as thefour creeper gears without ever touching aclutch. Simply press the switch on the gearshift lever, or on the joystick control on theoptional multifunction armrest.

Automatic Power Shift (APS)/Load MatchProfiline versions of the Agrotron120–180.7 Series come with AutomaticPowerShift (APS), which automaticallyshifts to one of four PowerShift speeds, depending on the tractor’s engine loadand rpm (load match).

APS allows you to infinitely vary the sensi-tivity of the system with a rotary switch. The clutch is actuated with either the footpedal or with a button on the gearshiftlever. All 24 speeds can be shifted with-out using the clutch pedal.

Reversing/ShiftingThe shuttle transmission makes it possibleto start up from a stationary position orchange direction of travel (reverse/for-ward) without clutching. Operation is easyusing the PowerShuttle lever.

The left-hand reverser can change direc-tion of travel (F/R) at speeds of up to 7.8mph (12.5 km/h) without depressing theclutch pedal. The tractor deceleratesslowly and switches to the opposite direc-tion at a very low speed. The modulatedshift value then smoothly brings the trac-tor back up to the previous speed.

FOUR SPEEDS AT THE REAR PTO FOR LIMITLESS WORK

Unlike most tractors in its class, the Agro-tron 120–180.7 Series features a rear PTOwith four speeds (540, 540E, 1000 and1000E) as standard equipment.

The flange-mounted PTO stub shaft has fourspeeds — 540/540E and 1000/1000E.Electrohydraulic modulation at startupreduces PTO and implement drive-trainwear. The PTO automatically disengageswhen the rear hitch is raised.

In the Profiline version, the PTO is alsoautomatically switched on when thehydraulic system is lowered. This pre-vents operation faults and reduces wearon the implements.

Economy PTOThe low engine speed output of the economyPTO reduces fuel consumption. The econo-my PTO maintains rated power, low enginespeed due to the engine torque curve.

Front PTO (optional)The 1000-rpm front PTO is driven directlyby the engine. Engagement is electrohy-draulically activated at the touch of a but-ton. Agrotron’s wet-disc clutch assuressmooth, modulated startups, no matterthe load.

The Agrotron 120–180.7 Series featureshydraulic systems with 22 gpm (83 L/min.),or the optional high-capacity loadsensesystem with 32 gpm (120 L/min.). Both sys-tems have a maximum pressure of 2900 psi(200 bar). Category 2 and 3 WKS quick-couplers and vibration dampening are stan-dard equipment.

Standard 3-Point HitchLarge-diameter cylinders have a liftcapacity of 20,240 pounds (9200 kg).Implement coupling and uncoupling can bedone under pressure.

High-Capacity, Load-Sensing PumpFor implements with higher oil flowrequirements a pressure and load-sens-ing hydraulic system with a flow capacityof up to 32 gpm (120 L/min.) is optional-ly available.

The load-sense system has an axial pistonvariable displacement pump. When ademand for pressure oil is sensed due to adrop in pressure, the variable displace-ment pump instantly provides more oil sopressure is maintained. The function withthe highest pressure requirements deter-mines the current system pressure.

Vibration DampeningDuring high-speed road travel, imple-ment movement, vibrations and oscilla-tions occur in the hydraulic system. When vibration dampening is engaged— automatically from 5 mph (8 km/h) —implement movement is detected byelectronic load sensing pins, and adjust-ed accordingly by the 3-point hitch tominimize movement.

Electronic Hitch ControlAll Agrotron tractors are equipped withelectronic 3-point hitch control (EHR).The EHR’s functions and sensors are con-

tinuously monitored by an integrated diag-nostic system, which provides informationon draft and position control, mix control, float, fast penetration, slip control (withoptional radar sensor), transport locking, external control switches, raise heightlimitation and rate of drop control.

External ControlThree-point mounted implements thathave to work at specific depths or heightscan be monitored by an external control.

Remote ValvesThese tractors can be equipped with fourdual-action remote valves, each with fourfunctions. All remote valves can be blockedin either raise or float position, and also

used for single- or double-action. Each valvehas a separate flow control so precise oilvolume is delivered to the correct valve.

The control levers are color-coded byhydraulic connections. All remote connec-tions at the rear can be coupled underpressure, are equipped with a rapid break-away emergency function and an environ-mentally friendly oil-collecting bottle.

Four electrohydraulic remote valves arestandard on the Profiline version. Two areactivated with the PowerComS operatinglever (flow rates and times are adjustable);the other two are operated with the joy-stick (flow rate is adjustable).

PowerBeyondWith the PowerBeyond connection anuninterrupted flow of oil can be routedfrom the axial piston pump directlythrough the load sensing coupling to animplement. Implements that have aseparate load-sensing-capable controlunit can be connected at this point.

2. The engine air filter is easily accessible. The air intake in low-dust areas and theejector dust separation feature ensurelong intervals between replacements.

3. The oil filler inlet and dipstick are easilyaccessible. Engine oil level can be checkedwithout opening the hood or cowling.

4. The transmission and hydraulic oil levelsare visible in a large sight glass.

5. Fuses and relays are mounted in the cabat the right rear side, are easily accessibleand well protected against moisture andvibration.

6. Real time diagnosis. Deutz-Fahr servicecenters provide fast electronic systemdiagnostic checks on the tractor via a singlediagnostic plug connection.

7. Both cab air filters are located at easilyaccessible positions in the B struts. The fil-ters can be cleaned and replaced withouttools. Charcoal filters are optionally available.

8. The cab floor mat can be easily removedfor cleaning.
