reported that sources had said a large chunk of the data that the EC cap-tured had corrupted. The EC’s attempt to retrieve them, however, led to the system deleting many of the names.

Now Mrs. Jean Mensah faces serious public criti-cism as she had pig-head-ed the compilation of a new voter register in spite of strong reservation by many stakeholders, including the National Democratic Congress.

M inority Leader, Haruna Iddri-su, has hinted

that the Minority in Par-liament may take an ac-tion against the Electoral Commission (EC) follow-ing the mysterious disap-pearances of names of voters from the new reg-ister that the Commission compiled.

Speaking in his Tamale South Constituency after an inspection tour of the EC’s voter exhibition fi -asco, the Minority leader

questioned the mystery disappearances.

“I have requested for a national compilation of these discrepancies in or-der to guide what will be our next possible action,” he said.

Hon. Haruna Iddrisu announced the demand after observing that the mysterious disappearanc-es of voters from the EC’s register had occurred in his constituency as well.

“So there are major discrepancies in the reg-

ister and what has been made available to regis-tered voters,” he noted.

The strange disappear-ances are causing confu-sion around the country. Many voters, including the MP for Ashiaman, Er-nest Norgbey, have com-plained that they cannot locate their names in the voters’ registers being exhibited in spite of regis-tering.

Authorities claim the cocaine from in-tercepted at Kpoglu Border was a paltry 100 grammes. However, Whatsup News is gath-ering that the weight was way higher than that.

T he Narcotics Control Commis-sion (NACOC)

and National Security operatives at Tema Port have reportedly intercepted a cache of cocaine stashed in a 40-footer container of rice and sugar.

The illicit drug is said to weigh some 100 kilo-grams and could easily fetch US$10 million in street value.

The container be-

NDC UK/IRELAND CHAPTER DEMANDS EC COME CLEAN ON SNEAKY ATTEMPT AT ROPAL

T he UK-Ireland Chapter of the opposition Na-

It was signed by Chairman of the Chap-ter, Alhaji Alhassan Mbalba.

The statement noted that the EC’s suspicious moves to sneakily reg-ister NPP adherents in the diaspora, has been punctuated by contra-dictions between its two Deputy Chairpersons on the issue of the feasibili-ty of ROPAL for the 2020 elections.

Deputy Chair, Dr. Bossman Asare is noted

to have put on record that Parliament had not enacted the neces-sary Constitutional In-strument for ROPAL to happen, while a second Deputy EC Chair, Dr. Sre-bour Quaicoe is noted to have said that the EC was ready to implement ROPAL.

The NDC group in Ireland noted the re-cent controversy over attempts by the EC to undertake ROPAA in the Czech Republic. “In August 2020, The NDC-UK & Ireland Chapter sighted a Directive with the caption: ARRANGE-MENTS FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION OF GHA-NAIANS, DIPLOMATS, IN-TERNATIONAL CIVIL SER-VANTS AND STUDENTS ON GOVERNMENT OF GHANA SCHOLARSHIP ABROAD purported to have been issued by the Embassy of Ghana in the Czech Republic.

The statement point-ed out that the contra-diction is not helpful demanding that the EC comes clear on its posi-tion on ROPAL as far as the 2020 elections are concerned.

“Sadly enough, most of these newly recruit-ed offi cers are or were juniors and colleagues to offi cers currently on the SRO grades. Lack of vacancies clauses have over the years been used by management to deprive qualifi ed and hardworking offi cers into the positions of CROs and ACs yet less experienced or qualifi ed ‘external persons’ could be employed to occupy such enviable positions,” the statement added.

Organized labour made it clear, that if GRA does not come clean on the processes that went into the recruitments, the new recruits will be blackballed. What this means is that they will not have the support of Organized Labour when they run into troubles, including sacks after a new administration takes over the reins of government.

“Until such transpar-ency is accorded Organ-ised Labour, we cannot guarantee the co-op-eration and support of staff to these new man-agement appointees as these discretional pro-cedures have the poten-tial to derail, succession planning, demoralize staff and most impor-tantly, ‘open the gates’ for successive manage-ments to continue using this occurrence as an example,” the workers’ union warned.

usu Bempah had earlier prophesied in 2016 that Hillary Clinton would win the US elections in-stead of Donald Trump. However, as it turned out, the exact opposite happened.

In 2012, when Owu-su Bempah’s Prophesy that Akufo-Addo would win the Presidential election failed to come true, he joined the de-feated Akufo-Addo in proclaiming that the keys to the political kingdom handed to Akufo-Addo from Heav-en had been intercept-ed and stolen by John

“The watchers are special angels in heaven who work with Abra-ham. They are responsi-ble for elections and the report they have sent to God is not good news for Donald Trump. T he personal prophet of Presi-dent Akufo-Addo,

Rev. Dr. Isaac Owusu Bempah, has reportedly announced that God is second-guessing him-self on the matter of the upcoming Presidential elections in the US.

According to reports, the man of God whose prophesies have only been in favour of Pres-ident Akufo-Addo, an-nounced God’s ambiva-lence this week after he had earlier prophesied that God had told him that Donald John Trump would be retained as President.

According to the con-troversial Owusu Be-mpah, God has entered into a crunch meeting with unknown entities to get a clear picture of the US elections in No-vember 2020.

“When the fi nal de-cision is delivered, I will inform the world but as at now, the Presidency is out of Donald Trump’s hands,” Owusu Bempah is quoted as saying.

According to him, God became confused when the “Watchers” sent back a report

Among others, Sid Roth of “Its Supernat-ural” fame have been praying for more calci-um for Donald Trump’s backbone as he suppos-edly takes on the so-called ”Deep State.”

Kevin Zadai, a popu-lar US prophet has been appearing on Sid Roth’s program and report-ing that from a recent visit to Heaven, he was shown that maintaining Trump in offi ce is God’s will.

Attorney General William Barr, according to Zadai, has a task to charge many corrupt people in the Deep State and bring them to justice.

“We have seen the assaults on our institutions: on the intelligence and law enforce-ment community, the State Department and the press…. seen our leaders stand beside despots and strongmen….seen us abandon our allies and have heard the shouts of betrayal from the battlefi eld…. one re-tired four-star general… shout-ed, ‘I don’t like the Democrats, but Trump is destroying the Republic!’… If our promises are meaningless, how will our allies ever trust us?” complained Admiral William McRaven -- Former Commander of U. S. Special Operations Command in an October 17th 2019 com-ment

General James Mattis Re-tired U. S. Marine Corps Gen-eral / Secretary of Defense for President Trump is on record to have said, ““Donald Trump is the fi rst president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people — does not even pretend to try. Instead he tries to divide us.

We yell at each other…. The separation of powers is very, very, very important. No pres-ident ever is a dictator or a king.”“I think we need to look harder at who we elect. I think we should look at people that are running for offi ce and put them through the fi lter: What is their character like? What are their ethics?”

Admiral James Stavridis, Retired U. S. Navy admiral / Former supreme allied com-mander of NATO has also put on record that, “this is really a collision between order and rule of law and increasing anarchy…. you start to feel that needle moving from The Federalist Papers toward the island in the Lord of the Flies.”

Another big weight, Gen-eral Colin Powell, a Former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Secretary of State, decries Trumps abuse of the Constitution and people; “We have a Constitution. And we have to follow that Constitu-tion. And the President has drifted away from it…. The fi rst thing that troubled me is the whole birthers movement…. And then I was deeply trou-bled by the way in which he was going around insulting everybody, insulting Gold Star mothers, insulting John Mc-Cain, insulting immigrants…. that is dangerous for our de-mocracy. It is dangerous for our country….““This is not the way the system is supposed to work…. the President…needs to understand the Constitu-tion, understand the restraints on him and his authority, and talk openly with his military authorities about what is the right thing to do, and not fi re them when he doesn’t get the answer he likes.”
