Title : SENIOR SITE ENGINEER OF STEEL FIXING WORKS (NAVIGATION LOCK).

Project Name : NEW ASSIUT BARRAGE AND HYDROPOWER PLANT.

Client : Ministry of irrigation in EGYPT.

Location : ASSIUT City in the middle of Egypt.

Project Description:

The project is new Barrage which control the discharge of water flow of THE RIVER NILE in Assiut city, the project includes, Hydropower plant included 4 turbines to produce 32 Mega watt of electricity, besides 2 navigation locks and bridge.

Duties :

In charge of the management of civil works (Steel fixing department) and coordinating with

the other civil works activities to allow the steel fixing continue , and solving

technical problems of steel fixing.

Achievements:

I always finish my works on time and most of times faster than the time required allowing the

carpenters to finish their work and pouring the concrete according to the time table of the project.

Project Name : Housing of the workers of 2 villas.

Client : NORPETCO.

Location : KARAMA area in the western desert Egypt.


The project of 2 villas building which are created for the housing of the workers of Petroleum

Company includes fence, security room, main gate, and escape gate.

Duties :

In charge of the management of civil works excavations, foundations, formwork, steel fixing,

concrete and all finishing items beside supervision electrical works.

Project Name : New mechanical workshop.

Client : Assiut oil refining company.

Location : Assiut city.


Workshop building 50 m X 20 m include strip footing and supports of steel structure to raise the

upper metal roof and masonry walls for the outer walls of the workshop in addition to all the

finishing works.

Achievements:

I had brought the labor I needed for few days according to work requirements such as, carpenters,

steel fixers, surveyor, plumber; .etc.and that made good reduction of coasts and increased the

profit of the project about 15% beside the project is working faster than the time schedule to be

finished on the required time.

Location : Valve station No (19) Aswan 30" Gas pipe line.


The project of control room building which control pushing the natural gas to Aswan city, the

Project Name : Storage metal silos complex with capacity 60000 tons .

Client : Silos Holding, Cimbria Co.

Location : Assuit City (Industrial area) in the Eastern desert road between Cairo and Assiut.


Civil works, steel structure, piping fabrication And erection of silos, catwalks, chain conveyors,

Instruments, Electrical Works, piping fabrication, sand. Blasting, painting, concrete slabs in the

whole area of site.

Duties :

Manager and quality control engineer in charge of READY-MIX concrete and supervision of plant of

READY-MIX concrete to produce about 25000 cubic meters.

Senior technical office engineer in charge of (MRP) Material Requirements Planning (making

requests of the raw materials (steel-bars, cement, sand, gravel, admixtures …etc).

Reducing Variable Cost by signing long term contracts with the Raw Material Vendors to avoid the

Market Price Fluctuation also to hedge the risk of the material shortage.

Making the technical reports of purchases.

Subcontractor's works.

Evaluate the project scheduling periodically (daily and weekly) to declare whether the project is

ahead-schedule or not, and if not; suggesting suitable solutions based on the planning

background.

Sending a monthly report to the manager of cost control including the amount of cement, sand,

and gravel used in the ready mix plant and the balance of the stored materials on site.

Achievements:

Estimation of the amount of (steel bars, cement, sand, gravel, admixtures….etc) amounts

required for all the work and duties with the lowest amount of waste for 25000 cubic

meters.

Project Name : Sohag / Aswan gas pipeline 32''/30 inches 390 km

Client : Gasco Co.

Location : Sohag , quena,and Aswan.


Construction of 30"–390 km Gas P/L including activities of R.O.W. Excavation, Stringing,

Welding, Wrapping, Laying, Padding, F.O.C., Backfilling, Open Cut and, Hydrostatic test &

Construction of Valve Stations.

Duties :

Site manager in in charge of the construction of the valve stations from Qena to Aswan (6) valve

stations the distance between the valve station and the next one is about 25 km ,so I had to pass

all this distance between the six stations about 125 km two times daily, may be more.

3 valve stations in the agriculture road inside agriculture area in the Upper Egypt villages.

3 valve stations in the desert road between Luxor and Aswan.

Achievements :

In spite of all the problems we faced, we have finished the required works before the schedule 2

years before the planned time and our company gained Great bonus from the client (Gasco).

Project Name : Pipe Rack.

Client : Petrogas.

Location : Assiut factory.


the project of steel bridge which carries 4 gas pipelines 8 inches in The charging island and fire

fighting line 8/6 inches and 250 Meters length between spherical tanks.

Duties :

In charge of the civil works excavations, foundations in addition to manufacturing of the steel

bridge.

Requesting the raw materials such as pipes, steel sheets, etc, besides the welding of the pipes.

Achievements:

We were working on site day and night. the day shift was for welding of the pipe lines and during

the night shift was radiographic works.

I had brought the labor I needed for few days according to work requirements as loan work such

as welder, carpenters, steel fixers, surveyor, ray imaging device, and X-ray technician….etc.and

that made good reduction of coasts and increased the profit of the project about 13% beside the

project has been finished in the required time.

Client : ASORC (Assiut oil refining company)

Location : Assiut petroleum zone.


Construction of the second and third class stands, fence around the Stadium and another fence

for separation between Residential City and the stadium area.

Construction of the foundation and columns and the frames of the stand of the stadium, besides,

the bathrooms and Water supply Pipes and sewage all the finishing works , steel structure of the

shed over the first Class stand and the main cabin. the construction of fence.

Achievements :

It was very big challenge because we have started the work by the end of June 2008 and the client

insisted on finishing the first floor of all the stadium to be ready for start using the stadium by the

beginning of the Egyptian league on the 15 th of August 2008. Beside the fence around the

stadium, and we did it on Record time, my company got certification for that.

Project Name : spherical tank with 4000 Cubic meters capacity

Construction the supports and the concrete slabs under the Spherical tank besides the mechanical

steel fixing ,pouring plain and RC concrete, Brick walls, outside and inside

finishing ,ceramic ,painting,………….etc) about 200 workers.

Duties :

Making bar lists of the steel bars of every parts of the construction for manufacturing and fixing

and following the steel fixing on site.

Achievements :

Decrease the loss of the steel bars to be about less than 1%.

Project Name : New Naga Hammady barrage.

Client : The ministry of irrigation and the water resources, by the main

Location : Naga Hammady (Upper Eggypt).

Project Description: The constructions of very big barrage including 6 vents and power house included 4 turbines to

produce 64 mega watt of electricity, besides 2 navigation locks.

Duties : Executive Civil engineer works responsible for fixing the steel bars and solving the steel fixing

problems .

Achievements : Decrease the loss of the steel bars to be about less than 0.5%.

I finished all the works required from the client and the main contractor according to the time schedule of the project without delay.

Other experiences: In charge of performing of the construction of 2 buildings belong to the housing project for the

military officers during the military service from (15/12/2003) till (30/11/2004).
