AKM Ahmedul Islam is the Founder of TechKnowGram Limited and now serving thecompany as Managing Director & CEO. His 25+ years professional experiences in Working inJapan market BPO, outsourcing and software industry have enabled him to be one of thepioneers in ICT Industry. From the inceptions of his professional career, Mr. Ahmed servedseveral multinational companies (NIIT, BJIT, seBPO and AtomAP) and successfully securedKey positions. He has been serving as a chair, co-chair and member of a number ofstanding committees of BASIS since 2001. Ahmed lead the participation of 78 member ICTbusiness team in Japan IT Week (spring) 2016 at Big Sight in Tokyo as the Convener ofJapan Focus Group at BASIS. He also represents Bangladesh in many national andInternational ICT events and forums.

Ahmed was a prominent ICT journalist and technology writer. He served as an

executive editor of the Monthly Computer Barta and senior correspondent of theBangladesh Observer. He is one of the founders and founder president of the BangladeshICT Journalist Forum (BIJF). He has his both Bachelor and Master Degree in Applied PhysicsElectronics and Communication Engineering from University of Dhaka and an MBA degreefrom Presidency University of Bangladesh. Ahmed completed Advanced Certificate forManagement Professionals ACMP 4.0 (4IR) from IBA, University of Dhaka.
